I don't know a lot about this place but I'm pretty confused about the reviews I've read. The staff may be great, I've been there a couple of times is all and they've been nice enough to me, however the facility itself is sad! Rooms too small, the smell is just awful and there are way too many people there. It just made me want to take them all out of that place, very depressing!

After the change in ownership and the improvements made over the past few years, this facility is unrecognizable in the best way. It’s cleaner, better run, and the atmosphere is genuinely caring. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else around Frankfort.

My mother in law has been here for a few years now. She is beyond the ability to be in home care. We have to buy new clothes for her every single month, new blankets, pillows. We are spending 200-300 a month sometimes on clothes alone. Her eyeglasses were missing over a year and they never took her to the eye doctor. I had to file a grievance with the state to get anything done. She also has lost one part of her denture set while there and after being told repeatedly about this issues they never have taken her to get replacement dentures. It has been over a year and now she is losing weight and also choking on food because she is unable to chew to swallow it. And they have known these things and done nothing about this for a WHOLE YEAR. She has not gotten appropriate medical care and they act like they know nothing when you ask anyone about anything. I go cut her hair because they have no hairdresser to come do this for the residents. She has had multiple falls with bruised head/eyes/nose black from incidents. She also has had issues with other residents attacking her or stealing things out of her room repeatedly. The rooms are too small for two people with no chairs for family members to sit and visit or even for her to sit and watch tv in her room without being in her bed. There have been multiple complaints with ombudsmen due to this. My husband would have removed her already to another facility but his brother is POA. DO NOT GO HERE OR SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

My father and grandfather received excellent care during their separate stays at Bradford Square. The care and devotion of the nurses and staff were not just like any other facility but they felt like family. My father spent his last days surrounded by a team of people who put his comfort before all else. I could not recommend the facility more highly. Truly one of the best in central ky.
