Boulevard Park Place is an active retirement living community for seniors 55 and older located in Burien, Washington. The family-owned independent community was designed, built, and opened in 1996 by Merle and Vi Steinman, who continue to be involved onsite. The community offers independent living in one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with full-size kitchens, dishwashers, microwaves, and washer-dryer units.
The 12-acre campus features Koi ponds, gardens, raised garden beds, and paved walking trails. Apartments include utilities and Comcast HDTV service, and all have either a private patio or balcony. The community provides an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, sewing and crafts room, woodworking shop, arts and crafts room, hairdressing salon open four days a week, two multipurpose rooms, and two libraries.

I would say overall it's a decent place. Not exactly my kind of atmosphere but people seem to be happy here. I guess people just stay in their rooms a lot. I don't usually see people milling around. I guess it just seems a little bit isolated to me. But yeah, they seem to take care of things decently and stuff is organized.

I moved into BPPlace in February, 2024, and I love it! There are wonderful views everywhere, the landscaping is beautiful, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. It's just a great place for independent living, and at age 80 I love it!<br>It's also a place that's not run by a big, distant corporation, and that's a distinct plus. Instead it's run by a family who's been involved with it from the start.

Our daughter discovered BPP in May and suggested it to us. We became residents in July.<br>We are very happy here. The residence is owned and operated by a family, not a corporation. They are totally attuned to us and our needs. The buildings are beautifully decorated for each season and well maintained always. Everyone is friendly. There are enjoyable activities every day: chair yoga, pinochle, a singing group, bean bag baseball,<br>bingo, Trivial Pursuit, Mexican train, movies, a<br>trip to a Mariners game, the symphony, a casino,<br>lunch at a local restaurant, etc. You can be as busy as you want to be. Come check the place out; tours are given daily. We love this place!

Family owned, family atmosphere, multiple amenities including indoor pool. First class facility with pristine maintenance. Bus and car service for shopping and appointments. Near daily activities. Frequent road trips. Rent includes utilities and cable. Resident garden plots, beautiful landscaping on a 10 acre lot. In city but set back from the hustle and bustle. We all LOVE it here!
