Boulevard Park Place is an active retirement living community for seniors 55 and older located in Burien, Washington. The family-owned independent community was designed, built, and opened in 1996 by Merle and Vi Steinman, who continue to be involved onsite. The community offers independent living in one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with full-size kitchens, dishwashers, microwaves, and washer-dryer units.
The 12-acre campus features Koi ponds, gardens, raised garden beds, and paved walking trails. Apartments include utilities and Comcast HDTV service, and all have either a private patio or balcony. The community provides an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, sewing and crafts room, woodworking shop, arts and crafts room, hairdressing salon open four days a week, two multipurpose rooms, and two libraries.
Activities and outings are central to daily life at Boulevard Park Place. Residents participate in card games, bean bag baseball, bingo, exercise classes, dinners, and movies. The community organizes grocery and doctor runs, mystery trips, lunches and dinners at local restaurants, monthly breakfasts, and ice cream socials. Trips using the Boulevard Park Place bus provide enjoyable excursions for residents.
Pets are welcomed at Boulevard Park Place. The community maintains secured buildings with visual monitors viewable from apartments, and on-site managers are available. The Steinman family's continued involvement and the community's management team focus on resident welfare and creating a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
