Terrible ER service. Checked us in and nobody came to check on patient for 3 hours. No concern. No sense of urgency. Admission took too long and staff acted like they didn't want to be at work.

I’m writing to say this week has been a great week for my family at BMC. Even though we had a minor hiccup. My dad has been in since Monday and the housekeeping team has been great. They always speak as well as have a smile on their faces. What shocked me the most was the young Director who I thought was 16, stop by our rooms multiple days to just check in and see if we needed anything. Since last year the cleaniness has improved drastically! That’s what you call leadership! Nurses were great. Overrall everything was great.

I am writing to formally document a concerning experience my mother had at the Bolivar Medical Center Emergency Room on 4-17-2026. My mother, a 76-year-old patient, was admitted with severe congestion and respiratory distress. During the encounter with the attending physician, Aaron Amos, we observed several lapses in standard care. Despite her clear respiratory symptoms, no diagnostic testing for COVID-19 or influenza was performed, nor was a breathing treatment offered. Most concerning was the physician’s attempt to administer morphine to a 76-year-old patient with breathing difficulties—a decision even questioned by the nursing staff on site. Furthermore, when the medication was declined, the physician’s demeanor became unprofessional and dismissive. This experience reflects poorly on the quality of care provided at Bolivar Medical and warrants a thorough internal review.

Please hire more compassionate doctors and nurses. Dr. Kellough was extremely condescending and should really consider a career change because the way he treats patients is not okay. I am somebody who worked in the medical field and he has no training on ethics. He cared more about questioning how I could afford my medication than helping me feel better. There is no reason he should be questioning me about my finances. I see plenty of others have had complaints about him too. I genuinely hope HR will thoroughly consider these complaints for the sake of this hospital. I appreciate the few people who did care to listen to my concerns.

I was in a bad car wreck guy hit me no insurance no lic. They put me in the same room with the guy that hit me and not with my mom that was in my car. They said I was just bruised up well I went to another doctor found out my neck was fractured. And my rib was fractured. Do you no the pain I went through because all the doctor wanted was to get me out of there .Doctor was there was not nice at all just laughed at me that I said I want to be with my mom not with the guy that hit me. Never go there again .The patients need to be taken care of and not set at desk flirting with nurses. My moms eye needed to be cleaned and fixed he put glue on my moms eye didn't clean it and said she was ready to go. We got home my sister and me cleaned my moms eye .She could have had infection set up to them not doing there job.
