This "New" Review done Aug-2026.
01.- Cleanliness: The facility had started to go downhill. I spoke directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Brandon. He cleaned the room himself taking note of all areas of concern; made sure that personnel had the necessary tools & supplies to address problem areas and personally went over each item with cleaning personnel. The change is miraculous. Great Job!
Patient Laundry: In spite of continuous loss of personnel in this department, the patient Laundry service has remained excellent. Kudo's to Cecily who has overseen that department for decades with competence and professionalism. Service has continued to be without issue.
Building Maintenance: They respond timely and are very nice but regularly put on a bandaid to make it look like they fixed the problem, rather than actually repairing the issue at hand.
02.- Staff: CNAs are the reason my nursing home experience has been pleasant. Even though there are regular staffing challenges, there are those CNAs that make residents feel cared for. I would like to call out those that have been truly remarkable. Some examples of exceptional CNAs: Laura H, Katie M, Lekisha H, Carlee, Kelsey L, Hannah, Noel H, Kirsten, Lisa, Angel, Angie O, and Hailey Y.
RNs: are still very kind & professional however (due to staffing challenges), there seems to be a greater number of agency and/or traveling nurses which has led to inconsistent care. I have reported to supervisors on several occasions that RNs have failed to put on and later remove my leg brace; more concerning, there has been problems with untimely & inaccurate medication distribution.
03.- Medical has had some changes but with no significant effect on the services provided.
04.- Activities Dept has underwent multiple staffing changes but overall there has been marked improvement in this area.
05.- Food. This service has sadly continued to deteriorate. Food is normally served undercooked (raw or still frozen), overcooked (completely burnt or pulverized) fresh vegetables are not fresh, portion sizes remarkably small.
{New pics added}
To end on a good note.... Kudo's to Jazzmine M, who makes many of us feel pampered and worthy by doing our hair and mani-pedis.
Special thanks to Doris and other receptionist/secretaries for always being helpful in the areas of communication/mail/off-site medical appts/etc.
_________________________________

The below "Original" Review was posted in 2025:
01.- Building: kept clean daily.
Patient Laundry: done regularly and very nicely hung, folded & put away.
02.- Staff: CNAs & RNs very caring, compassionate and attentive with very few exceptions.
03.- Medical: extremely thorough care with regular visits from MD or NP, you get regular psychiatric assessments including counseling if needed. Visits & Care from Wound Specialist, Podiatrist, Eye Doctor, Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapists, etc.
04.- Activities: They plan several weekly activities to engage residents.
05.- Food: Meals not delivered timely and the quality/taste is very inconsistent. Meals are regularly lousy. {Photo examples attached}
