My mother was in long term care at Blue Heron for 3 yrs We were extremely happy with care and cleanliness. CNA Lisa Lopez is very good and caring and my mother loved her. Special mention for her nurses. Betty,Claudine, Avani Patel, Tejal Patel, Krina Patel and Punita Purohit were very considerate and caring. I hope Blue Heron recognizes them. We have NO complaints about this place. Admi nistrator Megan is very nice and present.

Maybe the other part of the facility is nice, but the rehabilitation was horrible for my father. He was recently sent to the hospital just this week. First, they do not answer the call button. It takes them 15-25 minutes before they come. Both my mother in law and I had to clean him after an accident that he had. Second, one night he wait 3 hours for a nurse to help him. Third, our first night there we asked for water and they took his cup to the bathroom faucet to fill it up. Though the physical therapy department was wonderful, the care facility is not. The blankets smell old and dirty. The head nurse called to tell me when he was going to the hospital and when I asked if I should retrieve his belongs, I was told no. The next day, my husband begged me not to send him back. The place was dirty and the food tastes awful. I went to pick up his belongings and they had already packed it up. I watch as his stuff was put in a closet and asked why it was packed up when I was told I could do it. It then informed them that I need to see the room. I was told I couldn’t. I am glad that I did. While walking in the cleaning lady said, “ Look, they left these depends. We can use them. I explained that my name is on them and I want them. Also, wanted my husband’s charging cords plugged into the wall. Please do not send your family member here if you love them. It was extremely traumatic.

Truly remarkable team and facility at Blue Heron. My mother was welcomed several weeks ago and we could not have been more blessed. Erik and Vanessa, along with the skilled nursing and LTC teams have been nothing short of phenomenal. Can't thank them enough. They all truly understand the importance of caring and catering to one's specific needs. Thank you all. God Bless.

My mother is there for short term rehab. Some of the staff is super attentive and others are absolutely not. We waited a very long time for nursing care though t he activity staff and the admissions staff were fabulous. PT was super helpful and they came when we needed them. Overall it was a little discouraging because there were some hygiene issues and it took a while to get the support that we needed.

Blue Heron is an excellent facility and the entire staff does a great job. Everyone provides excellent care and communicates well. Our family is grateful to have our loved at this facility. Vanessa has been especially great to work with. I would highly recommend it.
