Great staff who took time to tell us about the house history and show us some of the original furniture and especially the piano and record player, which are still in good working condition.

It's been over 9 years since I was wrongfully evicted from there and Im going to sue them at some point. Here goes, I came from NC to start a new life here, but things got way worse as I'm trying to be a Minister for Jesus and I'm a Targeted Individual. Mike was so nice accepting me, as I thought there would be a waiting list because I truly needed their help and was willing to live on only 130 a month, these group homes are ridiculous and bs they must be for profit, how can it be non profit when they basically take your entire check. Ok, the day before I went to Bethaven, as I got their name from evil Cedar springs who lied n said they only had it for sober living which I didn't need so I knew that was BS and went to a tech got the list called Bethaven and I was accepted to move in 3 to 4 days. I was so happy and had hope, went straight to Dr Torrey who cut me off my clonipin, called her and the therapist out as liars and how dare they help drug addicts over mentally ill. I'll write their evils on their profile but they started this crap. I ha

I hear it's the worst place to live. My friend Sarah and I were trying to move her bookshelf at PPG after she left BH, and it fell apart. She said the maintenance man put it together wrong and it was forced together. He didn't even leave the instructions. He didn't even read the instructions on how to put it together properly. I was told he was the worst handyman ever. Messed up everything and cant fix anything. Sandy, she said was his name. A lot of people from BH moved to the Pointe Of The Pines Gardens, where Sarah and I are now. We love it here and she said it's the best place to move to. No waiting list either. First come, first serve. They are filling up fast here. Don't go to BethHaven. They have a years waiting list.

I am moving out of this horrible place. After 8 years, the staff have gotten mean, not caring, disrespectful, and just plain bad at their job. The director told me, "The staff are not there to be your friends or your therapist. They are there to work." In other words, they are there for the paycheck. They are skimpy on food, some rules are ridiculously made for controlling you, they over-charge some people, but others not. They selectively choose residents they care more for and look down on the others. Some get special privileges over others. The staff will make you feel bad about yourself. One even name calls. They treat us like school kids, back in grade school. Don't send your loved one there if you really want the best for them. One day I was crying, a staff just sat and staring away from me, but knew I was upset. She didn't care I was in distress. They don't hardly feed you enough food at breakfast. I had to buy my own food to have a filling meal in the morning. This place is horrible. Don't send your loved one there, please.

Place is a joke. Angel is over dramatic and negatively affects both resident and employee life.
