Berlin Nursing & Rehab is a reliable facility with a skilled team who exhibit excellent caregiving skills. The Skilled Nursing world is in a league of its own. It is a place nearly nobody wants to find themselves and the staff occasionally have to relay unfortunate news to residents and families. It’s an extremely difficult task to navigate state & federal guidelines as well as the resident & family’s wishes. As I read through other reviews, I notice a pattern of grievances that conflict with standard policies/procedures of any Skilled Nursing Facility in this area. Google ratings can be very helpful, however, when it comes to healthcare, I highly suggest forming your own opinion. Most people who have a good stay won’t make a review because that’s what is expected. Imagine the number of people skilled nursing facilities treat each day, 24/7/365 and then compare that to a handful of poor reviews. I challenge you to take a chance on Berlin Nursing & Rehab, and create your own opinion based off of your experience. I guarantee more residents are happier with their care than not!

BNH was to give me 12 IVs from Thursday through Saturday. I was released from Tidal Health with assurances from BNH they would provide the IVs. They have not done so. Meanwhile I sit here and wait for the IVs. My health depends on this and BNH could care less

Totally incompetent. If you need to speak with any person of importance here, good luck. You'll be transferred to a voicemail that is full & you can't leave a message, or you'll leave a message and no one ever calls you back. The lies they tell you change every day about the status of the situation. The 1 positive review you see that shows up on Google was actually meant for a similarly named facility in NEW JERSEY, not this one...

Called today to speak to my mother. Reception picked up. I asked for my mother. Was asked what room, but she has gone back to the hospital at least one time, so I said I did not know. Reception looked up the room, said it and I asked to be connected. It rang 5-6 times then bounced back to reception. I was told I would have to call back. I asked for the nurses station. Reception claimed I had already been connected there, and then my mother's room. I disagreed, and tried to explain the order of events. I was interrupted, and told I did not know what I was talking about as I was not there. I disagreed again, tried to speak again, was interrupted again, told I was rude and then I was hung up on.

I had a knee replacement and a patient in March on the Rehabilitation floor . I was welcomed immediately by Wynette CNA , who just swept me up and got me settled comfortably and took excellent care of me !! Joanne CNA as well . She was a sweetheart with a great sense of humor and would go get me a candy bar from vending machine when i needed it lol ! The nighttime Joanne was gentle and kind. The nurses were awesome with great empathy and treatment. Having a knee replacement isn't easy. Kindness and care in this day and age where humanity is at its low , let alone insurance denying what alot of people are in need of. I needed them , and they were there , even for the help of my laundry . I miss them!! I will say I found the place clean and smell-free. I loved the Physical Therapist L.B ,she was awesome!! My outpatient PT said she did a great job ! Thank you to the Rehabilitation team and your hard work !! You'll never know what it meant to me . The business team that worked with insurance are my super heroes!! My final thought is knowing that Jesus had me in the palm of his hand before the operation, during and after. Always!
