It’s what they don’t tell you. My Mother was in memory care and fell out of her wheelchair with an aide pushing in April, Broken femur, concussion. Hospitalized and not allowed to return to Belmont. Why? If you can not bear weight on one foot you are no longer qualified. On two separate tours by family members before deciding on Belmont we were told she could live out her days there. She then required a long term care facility Didn’t find out this policy until after 10 days in the hospital. Belmont would not put in writing that she could not return. A rep was sent to evaluate her and refused to allow her to return and recuperate. I panicked, Few long term care facilities of any quality. It cost 30 thousand to move her to John Knox. Where she subsequently passed away in August. If you have the $ I recommend John Knox. as they have complete care to end of life, in multiple facilities and multiple buildings. Additionally Belmont keeps charging you until the room is cleared out. It gets worse. Belmont refused to call me back to discuss and I had to. resort to corporate who’s equipped to dismiss concerns.<br>Watch out for services performed for your loved ones. For example. My Mother went to the beauty salon regularly per my request. They charged different rates for same services and decided to give themselves tips since she has advanced dementia.!…. . Let the buyer beware
