I just visited my sister in law at Golden Sands. I cannot express enough how wonderful and attentive and caring these devoted staff are to their residents. This is such a home environment filled with love and happiness. Swaby and Natasha the administrators are the best as they continue to strive to provide t h e best care possible for the residents. My SIL moved to the home sight unseen a year ago and she is truly happy and well cared for 24/7. The home is IMMACULATE! I had such a heart felt visit every day I came to visit! They truly are Angels at Golden Sands and I am grateful for the love and caring the staff has for each resident! Thank you Golden Sands for all you do !

I'm delighted to share my experience with Golden Sands ALF. When my parents were home, they would elope and I didn’t know where they went. In our intake session, Swaby said, now I am responsible for them. That statement took a heavy burden off my shoulder . I was sold!<br><br>For four years, Swaby and her dedicated team provided exceptional care to my parents. Their compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured my parents felt safe, comfortable, and valued every day. I'm incredibly grateful for the warm environment and high-quality care they received.<br><br>Golden Sands ALF truly exceeded my expectations, and made a difficult decision easier to make. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional care for their loved ones.

My mother lived the last three years of her life at Golden Sands. They were very kind to her and met all her needs, which were considerable. She was always smiling when she saw the staff and when I visited, I could see they treated her respectfully and patiently. I dont understand the comments about dark and gloomy as it's typical of most homes in the area. Its a small converted house, which I really liked. because it doesnt have the "institutional feel" of most other huge assisted living facilities. And as soon as mom moved in there, the owner/manager gave me her cell phone number and I rarely had a problem getting her to answer right away. Maybe a resident answered when one person commenting phoned there, and I believe "Garfield" was also a resident. Perhaps the CNA on duty was away from the desk cooking a meal or caring for someone. Too bad to downrate Golden Sands. I highly recommend it.
