I cannot say enough good things about Belle Grande. This facility is first class. There is never a shortage of activities for the residents. My mother says it's like being on a cruise ship! The most important thing, however, is the genuine concern shown by the employees. Everyone is courteous and polite. They truly care about the residents.

Belle Grande has been an awesome experience . I would like to first thank the administration . They were professional and informed. We were treated with respect and dignity at all times. When I entered rehab I could not stand or walk. It was a remarkable experience working with all of the PT’s and Ot’s. A special shout out to Teresa (Speech therapist) , Kayla( PT), Julian( OT), Jodee (COTA) Courtney ( COTA) , and the other PT’s and OT’s. They are the main reason I am walking today. It was like walking into a five star hotel. It is bright and made me feel positive. Thanks to my nurse, Tyra and my CNA Jamaica for all they do. Activity Department offered a variety of events that kept us busy. Thank you! I enjoyed the movies with popcorn, all of the singers and especially Bingo. I have met so many friends here that I almost want to stay. If you need a nursing home this is the place to be…..or rehab you will be back to normal in a matter of time.

My husband and my Mom reside at this facility. The facility and staff are excellent. As with every facility, issues will come up. The management and staff always address the issues with a good plan. There is never a question of if the staff cares. They always treat my family with compassion and dignity. I can only close my eyes at night because I know they are so well cared for.

I would give “ZERO” stars if it were an option. This place LOOKS amazing, but do not be deceived. As a retired critical care nurse that has worked in both Shreveport and Alexandria, I have never seen such neglect and poor patient care. My mother went here walking and talking and on day 4 had fallen, a bed sore from being left in her own vomit and diarrhea, a UTI, and yeast infection. No one called to report that my mother was even sick. If it had not been for my daughter going to check on her, I am fairly certain she would no longer be here. Upon my arrival from being of town, my mom was wheelchair bound, mumbling, and unable to feed herself. On day 10 she was weighed and had lost 12 pounds. Also very disturbing to me was seeing residents across the hall sick as well, and calling out for assistance with no response. The infection control in this place is virtually nonexistent. Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer nowhere to be found. Health inspectors… WHERE ARE YOU!? Heed my warning, if you care about your loved one, do not even tour this place.
