We moved my sister to Bee Hive Homes of Crownridge about 4 months ago, and from the beginning, she has called it home. The staff is loving, attentive, and truly takes the time to know and care for as a person. Because Bee Hive is family-owned and operated, there is a warmth and personal touch that you feel when you walk through the door. Knowing she is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who genuinely care and gives us tremendous peace of mind. We feel very blessed to have found Bee Hive Homes of Crownridge.

Taking my 93-year-old mom out of her home and moving her into assisted living was one of the hardest decisions our family ever had to make. I spent over a year searching and visited BeeHive five separate times and when we could no longer avoid the inevitable, we made the decision to move her to BeeHive. During my search, what kept me coming back was simple: regardless of when I visited the house was clean, odor-free, and the residents genuinely looked happy.

BeeHive is family-owned business, and the Sikora family’s involvement and passion for their business is real. Early into mom’s stay, I e-mailed Jordan with a concern. Within my e-mail I told him while we were happy with Beehive and would score it at 96, I wanted the issue addressed. When we met, he thanked me for the ninety-six but said “I want 100.” His mom Jennifer is always there hosting activities for the residents. I have repeatedly watched her go into every room greeting each resident. She always tells me the residents are “my people” and she always needs to make sure they’re cared for.

As with many places in this field, there is some staff turnover, but the core team that has stayed is exceptional—attentive, kind, and clearly invested in the residents’ well-being. Residents are always well-groomed – dressed neatly, hair combed – details that show real attention to dignity. Resident turnover is rare, which is another strong indication of how our family members are treated.

The food and kitchen staff are amazing. Meals are well balanced and my mom, who is a very fussy eater, always talks about how good the food is. While residents all eat the same thing, it’s amazing to see Jamie and his staff make changes for residents based on what they like.

I waited almost six months to write this review because I wanted to include real experiences, not just first impressions. I visit mom often, not because I need to be there, but because I know my time with her is limited. The bonus of every visit is being around residents who are charming and hilarious, and getting to know the staff who take such great care of our loved ones. We’re so grateful to have found BeeHive, a home that treats my mom like one of their own.

BeeHive Homes of Crownridge is the best a family can find for a smaller, personal assisted living home. The owners are amazing people, putting their hearts and efforts into making every resident feels loved and important. The care and meals provided by the staff and cook are wonderful. The home is well built, meticulously clean and maintained. We are excited for their second home to be built - giving more families the blessing of calling this home.

Our Mother has received excellent care at the Bee Hive since August 2023. She enjoys the activities, we know that she is safe and she has people to talk to all day long, if she wants to visit. The facility is very clean and because there are only 16 residents, she is able to promptly get any assistance she might need.

The staff and owners at Beehive are dedicated to the residents. Mom loved the activities, friends and caretakers there. I'm grateful that we had Beehive for Mom until she passed.
