About BeeHive Homes of Bosque Farms

BeeHive Homes of Bosque Farms provides assisted living and memory care in Bosque Farms, New Mexico, located approximately 20 minutes south of Albuquerque. The community operates two residential-style homes designed to feel like private residences rather than institutional facilities, with a focus on personalized care in a small-home setting.

The assisted living program supports seniors who need assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management, offering 24-hour caregiver support, private bedrooms with ADA-accessible bathrooms, home-cooked meals, and a calendar of social activities. Memory care services provide specialized support for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other forms of memory loss, featuring structured routines, meaningful engagement, and safe environments adapted to residents' changing needs. The community also offers short-term respite stays for residents whose families need temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities.

Residents enjoy home-cooked, dietician-approved meals, private rooms with ADA showers, housekeeping services, and access to activities including gardening in a secure courtyard garden. Caregivers know residents' preferences, routines, and personal stories, providing individualized attention based on comprehensive care evaluations. Couples' rooms are available depending on availability, and flexible visiting hours accommodate family connections.

Located in the quiet village of Bosque Farms along the Rio Grande, the community is nestled in a neighborhood where residents can enjoy a peaceful setting while remaining accessible to families in the greater Albuquerque area, including Los Lunas, Peralta, and Belen. While there is no full-time nurse on-site, a consulting nurse is available, and physicians may order home health services for residents requiring additional nursing support.

My dad lived in House 2 just short of three years. From the beginning, the staff were always kind - the house was always clean and cheerful. The property is absolutely beautiful and well kept. They celebrate holidays with decorations and special dinners. My dad always felt like he was part of family there. Thank you for exceptional care.

My 92 year old mother had been diagnosed with kidney failure, and although she had been able to live by herself for 19 years after my dad died, her situation became more and more fragile, and I had less and less peace. My husband and I are not spring chickens ourselves and we were starting to have our own health issues. We arranged for Mom to have help three times a week for three hours each time and we got her an urgent response necklace. That worked for awhile, but after a time it was obvious that she needed even more help. I visited the few assisted living homes in our area and settled on the Beehive Homes in Bosque Farms, just 5 miles (10 minutes) from where we live. I'm so glad I did! Every room is a private room with it's own TV and it's own thermostat. She spent the last year of her life there and received such good and loving care from all of the employees. They threw her a birthday party (her last one) when she turned 93. She was so blessed and so were we! She requested Church's Fried Chicken and lemon cake and they made sure that's what was served for lunch to all of the residents that day. I just can't say enough about how caring and kind the owners, Henry and Cathy, and the managers, Ina and Gloria, and all of the employees there, were as they cared for Mom all the way to the end. Most of all, once we moved her into the Beehive, I was able to go back to being my mom's daughter again.

I lived in House #2 at Beehive Homes in Bosque Farms after suffering a frontal lobe aphasia stroke, which is a rare and very serious type of stroke. From the very beginning, the care and support I received were exceptional. The staff, the facility, and the grounds are immaculate. My room was supremely comfortable and truly felt like home. The weekday cook and the weekend cook are both incredible — the food was consistently excellent. Every single staff member treated me like family. My goodness gracious — the kindness, compassion, and patience shown to me meant everything. The other residents were also incredibly kind, and I came to love everyone. I made many genuine friends here, and we truly enjoyed each other’s company. Gloria and Ina are incredible house managers. They do an outstanding job and clearly care deeply about both the residents and the staff. I wish I could name every single staff member, but there are too many to mention. What I can say is that they are a truly great team, and I will always be grateful for my time here.

Each and every year for as long as I can remember, we’ve been visiting the annual Bee Hive Bosque Farms light display! It’s become something we look forward to every Christmas. We often eat dinner in the car as a family after long days while watching the show! We look forward and appreciate the effort! It’s beautiful and become a staple in our community. The never ending work must take months to set up and execute. Your effort and determination to continue this tradition doesn’t go unnoticed.
