My mother has been at Beaver Meadows since 2017. The facilities are great and the staff is fantastic! The entire staff provides outstanding care and they keep an open line of communication with me as needed. I couldn’t be happier with the care my mother is receiving at Beaver Meadows!

Hello, my mom was in Beaver Meadows for 1 month in 2024. It is a beautiful facility that is very clean & odor free. The staff work in "blocks" which was a new term to me. They are the same employees 1st half of the week & same with the second half. This allows the staff to better know the residents and residents their caregivers (wonderful). The staff is very nice & compassionate. They are very attentive. My mom was very happy there & never felt alone even when she chose to stay in her room. They check on the residents at night, literally look in on them. It is very comforting. They have a nice activity schedule & encourage residents participate. Thank you for caring for my mom.

Nice facility. Residents have a library, nice dining hall, activities, Christmas party, good security, ample staff, attractive building, and an open atmosphere for residents to mingle. 24/7 good cofee and the staff is good. friendly. secure building, all levels from assisted living to hospice. Expensive, but nice, we volunteered there before covid ock downs. They are secure in not letting people visit to protect the residents.

My mother has lived there for approximately 3-4 years and the staff and employees who work there are very good when it comes to the care of the residents, my mother in particular. The one thing that there is room for improvement is providing residents (my mother in particular) their requested medical care and medicines/rubs within a reasonable timeframe. There have been too many times when those requested items were not provided at all, or provided many hours since being requested. One other thing I've heard from my mother is not being able to see the Dr. when requested. Sometimes it's days/weeks before she would be able to see him. The other types of care my mother receives is very good. She receives great assistance from the nurses aids in helping her with dressing, showering, hair cutting (during the lock-down), etc.
My mother has been very pleased overall living there.
Patty Dolphin

My mother was a resident there for approximately four years. from day one she experienced wonderful care from all of the staff. The staff is very conscientious about what they do and go above and beyond with the care of the residence, anytime my mother had an issue problem or fall the nurses called immediately and made me aware. my partner and I visited several times a week and was always pleasantly surprised at the great care and friendliness of the staff. there is a lot of activities to do there for the residence since they have an activities. they provide bingo, art classes, Bible study, local outings to Walmart and the dollar store, boscov's and can transport the residents to the doctor. anytime we had a question about my mother's health they would always call us back or someone was always there to answer our questions. I'm sad to say that my mother unfortunately passed away but I will always remember the phenomenal care she received from Saint Barnabas Beaver Meadows.
