I had a same day surgery for my ankle at this center and the experience was excellent. All the staff - from doctors, nurses, to housekeeping - were very polite , caring , and professional . They took really good care of me at every step and made me feel comfortable.special thanks to the nursing team for their constant support.

My family and I are extremely disappointed with the care provided at Bayonne Medical Center. My mother-in-law was left in severe, excruciating pain for approximately five hours while waiting for appropriate medical attention. No patient should be made to suffer for that length of time without adequate care, communication, or urgency. We were also concerned by what appeared to be a lack of coordination, responsiveness, and overall patient management during her visit. The experience left us feeling that patient well-being was not being treated as a priority. Because of the seriousness of our concerns, we will be filing a formal complaint and pursuing a review of the care that was provided. Patients and their families deserve timely treatment, compassion, professionalism, and respect—especially in an emergency setting. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to carefully research their healthcare options before choosing this facility. This review reflects our personal experience and the concerns we encountered during our visit. Dr. Brian E Harris do better ! you and your staff might need retraining

I really had a very bad experience while I was in the hospital! Some nurses were fine but some one there was very rude and acting like a bully! I had bladder bleeding and I was havig blood clots and very bad cramps! Some took care and some didn't give a damn! One. Nurses shouldn't be working there at all! No empathy, no compassion. When I needed help there would turn off the light from the front desk some aides were okay but some didn't give a damn!

Hudson Regional Health Aka Bayonne Medical I am writing to formally document and request investigation into a series of serious concerns regarding my recent admission at Bayonne Medical Center.During my stay, I experienced multiple issues related to patient care, safety, and staff conduct that I believe fall below acceptable medical and professional standards. While recovering from a significant surgical procedure, I did not consistently receive the prescribed medications or appropriate postoperative care. This raises serious concerns regarding clinical oversight, medication management, and patient safety protocols. In addition to these care-related concerns, I experienced interactions with staff that I found unprofessional and, at times, inappropriate. I believe I was treated differently due to my diagnosis of bipolar disorder. My concerns were dismissed, and I felt that I was spoken to in a manner that was disrespectful and stigmatizing. All patients deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and without bias, regardless of mental health status.Further, I reported that personal belongings, including a Gucci money holder and cash, went missing during my stay. This incident is particularly concerning and warrants a thorough internal review, including any available security footage and documentation of property handling procedures. What is especially troubling is that these issues did not appear to be isolated to a single staff member. My concerns were not adequately addressed when brought to the attention of supervisory personnel, which suggests potential systemic issues in patient care standards, staff accountability, and escalation procedures.Given the seriousness of these concerns, I am formally requesting:A comprehensive review of my medical records, including medication administration logs and postoperative care documentation. An investigation into staff conduct, including potential discrimination and unprofessional behavior.A formal inquiry into the reported loss of my personal belongings. A written explanation of findings and any corrective actions implemented to prevent recurrence. I expect that this matter will be handled promptly and with the seriousness it warrants. I am prepared to escalate this complaint to external regulatory bodies, including the New Jersey Department of Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, should a thorough and satisfactory response not be provided. -Christine Cristobal the recovering surgery patient
