About BAYADA Home Health

Care is overseen by a dedicated nurse manager who coordinates services and monitors progress. BAYADA maintains 24/7 on-call support and communicates closely with patients' health care providers throughout treatment.

BAYADA has operated since 1975 as a national leader in home health care, serving children, adults, and seniors. The organization is accredited by Community Health Accreditation Partner for meeting nationally recognized standards of care. Services typically involve 1–2 visits per week, with the care plan adjusted as patient needs and goals change.

Eligibility generally requires a referral or order from a health care provider recommending skilled care at home on a short-term basis for recovery or condition management. For most Medicare beneficiaries, patients must be considered "homebound," meaning it is difficult to leave home without assistance. Patients must also live in an area served by BAYADA's home health offices.

Coverage is commonly provided through Medicare and Medicaid, with services typically covered at 100% with no out-of-pocket cost to eligible patients. Private insurance plans and self-pay options may also be accepted, with BAYADA assisting patients in understanding their benefits and obtaining necessary authorizations before care begins.

They back their nurses over their patients. The funny thing is they are the ones who are over scheduling their nurses. They are more into admin than quality patient care. So keep that in mind. The LPN assistant I had was more professional and a better caregiver than the RN who is going to school to be a NP. The office does not seem to be interested in the quality of care-just administration. The RN likes to gossip about her other patients. She talks a mile a minute when she is in your home, about herself, her kids, her other jobs and her other patients. She even brags about herself and how so many patients prefer her and how great she is. Again she gossips about other patients. Word to the wise, if you have a nurse talking about her other patients , she is talking about you to others. Why that is even tolerated i have no idea. She kept pushing certain types of care that my body did not tolerate well. When I said no to those things, I was being the rogue, even though I was proven to be right, over and over again. She was also absent a great deal be ause she had other things going on. She was not integral in my healing. The LPN was, however. I saw in my health record that they called my treatment clinic and told them that they discharged me for "non compliance" That's right. I was non compliant because I stopped taking a topical ointment that I was having bad reactions to. It was already documented by my PCP that I am sensitive to that drug. But the "nurse" in question accused me of changing orders, which btw they didn’t exist. BTW patients don't write orders.

I am very upset I was a potential candidate for employment for this company and on top of the fact that they made me wait over 2 weeks to get my background check that not one place I have ever worked for including the casino and mind you they check everything under a rock I have extensive experience and worked for a number of amazing cargiving company's I have never never had a problem with my background they decided to not offer me the job for a misdemeanor that I got back is 2016 and 2017. Over ten years I am a great person that is a dedicated employee and I feel upset that you guys are so black and gray thats why the world is how it is good people get denied unjustified it is not fair I have my fingerprint clearance card that even with the misdemeanor you are making a big deal about was nothing because I dont have felonies . Perefinelia charge for a Marijuana pipe now you can go into the dispo and by it that really makes me untrustworthy.

Talked with a hiring manager at Bayada and I was very pleased with the info he presented me and his highly skilled professionalism, from Mr. Steven and Mr. Alex. I am looking forward to be a part of their program as a caregiver.

OUTSTANDING care and great skill by the nurses at BAYADA to help close my cellulitis wound. And a special gratitude to office manager Kristen as she went out of her way on a weekend to visit me and evaluate my open wound that was infected. For about 2 months I received very professional treatment and am now healed... Thank you for your great teamwork on my behalf ! Lisa A.
