Bayada in Wilmington area has been a blessing as enabled my father to keep my mother @ home. The staff is outstanding and has exceeded expectations in every way! We also love the caretaker we have now through Bayada. Although my mother can be challenging, she’s won her over and it’s been life changing for my parents. Zoe and the team in her office are the best communicators and never miss a beat!

Bayada was able to initiate care quickly and made the entire process so easy during a stressful time. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely caring. Most importantly, the aides kept my grandmother safe and comfortable, which gave our family real peace of mind. We’re very grateful for the support they provided and would highly recommend them.

Take a look at the pictures of the people Bayada serves. They look like difficult cases, even without knowing the patient details. I recently received services from Bayada. I had a stroke four years ago and I’m paralyzed on my right side, although my leg is weak, it’s usable . I had a medical setback and couldn’t transfer, which was a problem for me to continue my daily life. It was a very emotional time for me and I really needed some kindness and support, as well as professional services . I didn’t need my Bayada nurse saying I couldn’t even make it in assisted living, I needed a nursing home. My recovery baseline was not known at the time and I didn’t need the judgment. I should say I am 68 years old. How many people does it take to use a Hoyer lift? well three at Bayada and it almost fell over with me in it. I was told it was broken. I had it checked by the supplier and it works fine. I am using it daily and I have had no issues. When I was hospitalized, they were informed and I also discussed hiring private pay staff through them. I was under the impression we were on the same page, they would continue services. When it was time for my discharge, they were contacted and the response was they didn’t want to take me back “because there was to much back and forth”. I can only assume this was regarding my hospital bed. I have to say it was a confusing time for us too, as we kept being sent back to Bayada and told they ordered it. I will say the rehab social worker resolved it in one day. I also believe I contacted them with problems on several weekends and I guess they didn’t like it. I did think they were a 24 hour agency. I am doing well now, found my own staff and am using Christina Care. I want to be in the community as long as possible. I thought that would be their goal also. I can’t trust any kindness I was shown there, was it sincere? This isn’t intended to negate anyones experience, it’s mine. If your experience was positive, wonderful.

We will be forever grateful for the care Bayada provided my Father with over the past year. They were dependable and so very kind and compassionate. I would highly without hesitation recommend Bayada to care for a loved one. With the help of their staff we were able to care for our loved one at home instead of a nursing home during Covid. The staff went above and beyond expectations and our fulltime caregiver became more like family.

They have wonderful staff that are truly dedicated to the care of each individual client. I wold recommended them to any family that is looking for excellence in care for a loved one. Amanda Saitis is a wonderful recruiter and works diligently with the CNA's to ensure compassionate care and Chris Coleman is the best service manager to have on a team. The love I have for the team at BAYADA is far beyond what any dictionary could ever offer. I just simply love them all around.
