I am giving this facility 5 stars solely on the attentiveness, care, and compassion of two of their CNA’s Ashley B, Michelle M, and Nurse Tina. I came in as an agency nurse for a shift and they made my shift so smooth and effortless. There was an issue and the floor was short staffed. These ladies jumped right in and never complained once. We all worked as a team and tackled all required tasks. Here are your flowers ladies!!!! Great job and I look forward to working with you again.

Having several friends and relatives in other nursing homes, I had them transferred to this one as my son is in rehab there. Hats off to Matt, he has much compassion, he takes his work serious and knows what he’s doing. Natasha on the second floor has a gift for calming patients When no one else can. Geraldine (Geri), is not only polite and attentive. I believe she could run the whole place herself. Geri takes awesome care of my son. This job can be unappreciative and exhausting, However, these three I’ve mentioned are an asset to this facility.

They remove the negative reviews, I left a negative review a month and a half ago and it has totally disappeared. My husband was discharged to home with an infection and had to be promptly admitted to the hospital. They make it sound like everything is included in price then you receive bills for medications and transportation after discharge. Patients are gaslighted and call bells not answered promptly. My husband missed two meals three days a week due to dialysis and he was never given anything when he returned.

I have stayed at Barnegat Rehab and Nursing Center for the past 2 months and have had an overall positive experience. The staff and Nursing aids are extremely friendly and experienced. The facility is kept clean by the housekeeping staff. The physical therapists strengthened both my arms and legs. They also have a great activities department that keeps patients entertained. I would recommend this Rehab for anyone who needs it.
