WARNING: Melting Down Faster Than Chernobyl

Don't be fooled by the positive reviews of The Barclay House of Stuart. QSL Management Senior Living bought the previously named Symphony at Stuart facility in June 2026, rechristened it The Barclay House of Stuart, promptly gutted all three meal menus, and services—particularly food—have been in free fall ever since. The residents are paying exorbitant rates and yet basics like corn flakes are running out and not being replaced for weeks at a time.

Of greater concern, and potential liability to #QSLM, they've been forcing the elderly residents to stand in buffet lines (unheard of until now) with walkers and wheelchairs four times in the past month alone. Servers are allegedly there to help, but I've been present during two such occasions and no one was around: I served my family members and other residents unable to hold a flimsy paper plate and maintain their balance simultaneously.

Breaking a hip in your golden years can be fatal.

Furthermore, the facility continues to allow dogs but none of the bins has been emptied in a month. Let's not even talk about how they stripped the minibus wrap and spray-painted it grey. Yes, spray paint. You might scoff and say that this is a small thing; however, these are all indicators of greater dysfunction. The one positive note is that they kept on the wonderful front-desk and activities staff during this transition.

Regardless, if you love your parents or grandparents (or self), and wish for them to thrive, look elsewhere.
