The painting is not very good and there are some maintenance concerns, but the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Golden Oaks was better before the Baptist took over. The paint job could definitely use some improvement. 💔

If your loved one cannot advocate for themselves, please keep looking for a place. My dad was only here 2 weeks before he passed away. My family members and I had to spend hours at the home to make sure he was cared for and it wasn't enough. With each shift change, it seemed like it was a new day. There was no continuity of care. He wasn't given medication, for which he was prescribed. The hospice staff and the nursing home staff were not on the same page. It makes me so sad that our elderly are not given more respect than this. Dr. Mills was extremely uncaring and not available when medication was needed. I'm not sure there is a good place in Enid. The attitude seems to be that the elderly are disposable, especially those with dementia.

Getting Paul admitted to Baptist Village was urgent as he was living alone & unable to take care of himself. I live in AZ and was working with Nicole thru the approval process with Paul's Medicare Advantage Insurance - she was patient and supportive. Once approved & admitted, Paul was there for 10 days before I flew in to transport him to the Norman VA Home. He was ready to travel when I arrived early AM with his belongings packed. Everyone I encountered there was so friendly and helpful. HIs stay at Baptist Village was a lifesaver - thank you for all that you do every single day in caring for vulnerable people when their need is so great. Suzanne Blackburn

Horrible administration and they can't seem to keep any staff! Always short staffed and the patients suffer. Highly suggest looking elsewhere for family members. Not sure if it is better or worse since they took over Golden Oaks! Constantly made promises by administration that never get followed through with and they rarely return family members calls.

My mother is in their long term nursing facility. If your loved one can not take care of themselves this is not the place to send them! My Mother has been abused and neglected. The only reason we know this is because we have a camera in her room. All this place cares about is the almighty buck. Don't get me wrong there are some good people but all the bad seems to overtake the good!
