Thank you Travis and Pam and Avir of Winnsboro for working so hard on getting my uncles Medicare appealed to get him some physical therapy! We know he will be taken care of and be a new man when he gets done .

In December of 2022, I fell and broke my hip. I wasn’t familiar with Pittsburg Nursing Center, but I chose to do my rehab there since it was close to my son and daughter-in-law, and I’d heard good things about it. Because of complications with my hip, I ended up staying until the end of March. Not something I wanted to do, but the staff at Pittsburg Nursing Center made it so much easier. The CNAs always knew what was going on with me and treated me with dignity. I had physical therapy Monday through Friday morning, and if I didn’t show up for some reason, someone always came to check on me. They offered encouragement when it was needed and cheered me on whenever I accomplished a new goal. The nurses kept themselves familiar with my case and made me feel important. It’s a busy place, but people take the time to be friendly. There are lots of social activities planned to fill the day, and housekeeping keeps the place spotless. I’m glad I chose Pittsburg Nursing Center. It was a positive experience. - Susan Royal
