Despicable and unbelievable care for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. My husband’s condition is greatly deteriorating so I took the opportunity for respite care for him so that I might tour our local memory care facilities. He appeared to do well the first day and night, at about 32 hours in I was contacted by my hospice nurse stating the facility called her threatening to call the police on my husband for making threats. What? New shift of nurses… said they could not get him to take his meds either. I raced down to see him, he was sitting, appeared calm but hallucinating. I took him to the break room, got his meds in him and brought him home. So much for respite care. Don’t take your loved one here for any reason. I am not the first this has happened to. I have left messages for the executive director, Zack, no return call. Despite the horror and traumatic experience, kudos go to Morgan the social worker, Derrick, head of maintenance and the two nurses who did provide excellent care for my husband, Deja and Judy, thank you for your kindness and compassion!

First off, watch over your loved one because they won't! Gave my sister wrong med doseage and wrong meds completely! Did not give her antibiotics IV for 9 days! Said was waiting on test results that DR said would have been back in 2days at latest. The Administrator and Social Worker tried their best to help solve problems. I was told by DON that the Administrator and Social Worker has nothing to do with nursing side and could do nothing, she was in charge of that! Nite crew nurses leave alot to be desired. Day nurses was pretty good with the exception of 3 or 4. The DON Monique and her sidekick think they own the place. Very unpleasant and if she smiles her face would break. Wow, this place is anything but Christian. The whole place needs an attitude adjustment and training on how to talk to people. Simply keeping patients and family informed would go a long way. Would NOT recommend this facility to anyone!
