Miraculous workers in every department, from admissions to the social worker to activities personnel to nurses and aides our family could not have had better transition experiences. This is our parent’s second stay and everyone remembered her fondly from three years ago which is incredible! Thank you Aventura more than words can convey!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this facility and the phenomenal administrative team for the last three years. They continue to go above and beyond for all of their residents and families. As an outside vendor that comes in, they have always made me feel welcome and part of the “family”. I’ve referred many people to this facility and will continue to do so. Humility house is by far one of the best nursing facilities in the area!

This place has a little problem with black people and they have a controlling issue. The administration nurse came in and asked us to leave because she smells marijuana. Now we smoked at home 3hours before coming to visit my dad and we sprayed cologne and air freshener to block the smell just in case it bothers anyone. My wife stepped out to hit a cigarette and immediately the administrator claimed we was smoking weed. No ma'am, you are policing and watching us because you don't like us (black people) racist and racism is still around and I will not tolerate it. Not to mention when they give my dad his medicine they leave it on the side of him not making sure that he takes it. I feel like they are trying to hurt him more than he already is. He fills the cup of pills with water so they get soggy and he can't take them. This is day 2 of harassment from this woman.

Why is dealing with your billing department such a nightmare? Noone will call back and my mother in law was billed for months she wasn't even there. Number on the invoice led to someone who stated there were "errors" on it then transferred us to someone's else but noone will call back! It's been weeks. We keep calling and leaving voice-mails. Way to make a hard thing harder.

Edit: it's now the middle of July and this is still unresolved. Now we are of the opinion your billing department is incompetent and incapable of answering simple questions. Have loss track of how many phone calls have been made with no answers and cant be provided a simple detailed bill. Fed up with whole thing done spending hours of our lives trying to figure out your mistakes.

Humility House has been a game changer! Five months ago , my dad was in an accident and had been fighting for his life. We were told by the hospital and other skilled nursing facilities that he may never come home let alone walk again. He has been here in Humility House for the last 6 weeks and will be going home this weekend walking!!! This has been the best experience! The fantastic nurses, caring aids, outstanding physical therapists and helpful executive staff. Highly recommended!
