I want to thank Aveanna Home health for helping me with my recovery for the past few months. I had a brain tumor removed back in January, which impacted my ability to walk and my equilibrium. Jason has been wonderful to work with. He has given me helpful support and suggestions in ways to improve my balance as well as making my home safer. Tamarac has been great to oversee my progress. I “graduated” today. It was bittersweet. But I’ve come such a long way with their help and encouragement. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The physical therapist Cindy Matthews is doing home visits to take care of my mother. She is exceptional. The difference is that she truly cares, and it shows. She takes extensive time and does a thorough evaluation of the patient and is willing to go above and beyond to take care of her patients. What a blessing to have her as my Mom's physical therapist.

I was recommended this company by a friend who may have been out of the trussville division, but since I am in Hoover, my mom was given over to the pelham division and so far the experience has been horrible. The clinicians have been difficult to work with. They have not been accommodating at all when it comes to the care of my mom. All of the legwork and accommodating as far as scheduling has been all on me and my relatives because I did not feel comfortable leaving my home unlocked or leaving a key! I even called to express my discomfort with the manager because the OT therapist cancelled due to being sick, but has yet to reschedule or update me on anything. I'm not expecting someone to operate with an illness, but what I am expecting is a good customer service experience and I have yet to get that. Not only did I express to the manager that I want/need clinicians who are going to work with our schedule, I even took it upon myself to speak to my apartment complex and ordered and installed a keyless smart lock so that the clinicians can work around their schedule with a code into my home within the FIRST WEEK of working with this company. Yet again, doing all the ACCOMMODATING on my end to make sure my mom gets her therapy. I was still told that because her info is in the system already that she needs to stick to once a week although her level of care is needed way more. There's absolutely no compassion, no accommodations, and no customer service. I will be calling Medicare immediately on Monday morning to move our services elsewhere. I'm not going out of my way more than the company any longer. It's clear that they simply don't want to work with us and this was evident from the start. The only person that showed true concern and care was Cindy and Phaneika who did the initial assessment.

I've had several issues and needed home health one of the best health choices I've ever made was choosing Aveena home health for all my skilled nursing and physical rehab needs. Everyone I've come in contact with weather it was physical or verbally I was extremely pleased with from knowing all my needs to going to bat with insurance for more needed services. Now speaking of bat they have a therapist by the name of Steven Rockhart that works there and when I say he's an awesome therapist he is more than a physical therapist he's a mental therapist the encouragement he give you while he's working you to your full potential is really unheard of he also never let you fill limited by your situation he constantly exploring options to assist you and your special needs from suggestions to new techniques during your rehab time. Thanks Aveena for the continuous support

Aveanna has been so good to my dad. From the nurses like Felicia, Terra, Erica, Byron, Kenya, Latricia was fantastic also. Tamika helps me get my disabled dad bathe. Stephanie and Melissa in OT are amazing as well. We've had home health since 2022 I believe, my mom passed away in July 2023 and being an only son, All these people have been a blessing in assisting me take care of my dad. Highly recommend aveanna.
