My sister is there and they don’t have enough help the CNA are not caring. I saw 2 standing by the desk and ask them to check on my sister she was complaining her butt hurt from wet dirty diaper. She never came until I press the button. She said she would tell the nurse to put cream on because she changed her about 45 minutes ago She didn’t check the diaper. I was there for another hour and no one came

Lack of staff is a huge problem and supplies for them! The food is disgusting ! I actually brought in all meals for my husband! The building is huge, but equipment is old. He only had 20 minutes of therapy a day not enough! The CNA‘s are hit and miss the two that were actually caring and thorough and helpful or SHERKEITA. DAVENPORT and the other wonderful CNA name is Crystal. I don’t know her last name. they were the two I trusted Caring for my husband!! One of the nurses actually put a muscle relaxer in her pocket when I told her he didn’t need the muscle relaxer! I found that quite odd! I feel bad for the people on the nursing home side of it if they don’t have family coming in and checking on them!

I don't understand the low ratings for Avante, the facility is really pretty nice. The staff is very kind and caring. My brother in law is in there and they have been so very nice to him and us. He is in for rehab so he isn't a permanent resident. The tvs in his room are a little out date and in need of repairs but other than that it's nit bad. The director has an order in to maintenance to look into that.

Meals are hit and miss. Sometimes they are edible, and about 60% it seems like someone's 16 year old son is assembling the meals. Food is essential for getting stronger and healing.

Watch out for bills from this place saying you or a loved one owes them. My aunt Christine Orlandi passed away 1yr ago & has not been in their facility for over 3yrs & recently I am getting a bill saying she owes $3,200. My aunt's medical bills were paid up except the last week she was in the hospital before she passed away. If I could post a Pic of the bill I would. I was told middle of last week to disregard the bill however after speaking with someone I received another bill with no service date on it yet again $3,200.
