If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is not only disgusting, the staff is rude & disrespectful - especially the weekend receptionist. I am really unsure why she works in people facing position when she hates people. They lost most of my mother's clothes, have never found them. But the worst is the communication. I was trying to get anyone on the phone in the ward and nobody answered the phone. I tried calling different times, nothing. I was trying to get information on the status of my loved one. But as soon as it had to do with money... they were right on the phone. You definitely do not want anyone you care about to be here.

I had a great experience at Avante in Leesburg, FL. The staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout my time there. They made sure all my needs were met and went out of their way to create a comfortable and supportive environment. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference in feeling at ease.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. When my loved one moved in, I was honestly really anxious and unsure about how everything would go. But the staff made such a difference right away—they were kind, patient, and took the time to really get to know them. Now when I visit, I can see how comfortable they are, and that means everything to me. The nurses and caregivers are always attentive and treat them with so much respect and compassion. It doesn’t feel like they’re just another resident—they truly care about them as a person. The facility is always clean and welcoming, and I love that there are activities to keep them engaged and social. I also really appreciate how communicative the staff has been with me—it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. Placing my loved one in long-term care wasn’t an easy decision, but choosing this facility was the right one. I’m so grateful for everything they do, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone going through the same situation.

This place is not capable of caring for your loved ones. Most of the employees are only concerned with their own hair and nails, clocking in, and don't care about patient care; they just want to leave and go home. The smell is depressing, and they have no dedication to their work. My brother-in-law almost choked because they weren't suctioning the tracheostomy tube that was helping him breathe. When I complained, no one cared to give an answer. The collection container was full, which is evidence that they weren't paying attention. They solved the problem by calling 911, taking him to the Lessburg Regional Hospital, and discharging him—that's how they got rid of the problem. The rooms are meant for one person, but they cram two in, and the patient has to sleep right next to the air conditioner, which also caused my brother-in-law to develop pneumonia. He also contracted the flu virus. Stay away from this awful place.
