I showed up as a patient and when I handed my records from the hospital to the person at reception - she looked at me and said "what do you want me to do?". your job. So i waited as they argued over not knowing i was coming that day. An hour later, they put me in a room...with dirty sheets on the bed and blood on the pillowcase...not mine, and I was admitted for a severe staph infection and mrsa. And they put me in a bed with someone else's blood. I feel for the older patients, who can't speak for themselves - and have no ability to demand better care. The bed doesn't work, so i can't adjust it, the toilet is leaking in the bathroom, the garbage hasn't been emptied and is full of someone else's stuff, and the food is cold and disgusting. If you don't care about your elderly relatives - by all means- let they join the group of neglected patients who yell like they are at an asylum. But for God's sake - if you care the least bit for a loved one who needs a nursing home - run from this place and go anywhere else. This place is a disgrace.

This place is disgusting. I saw two German roaches in my loved ones room I could imagine what's in the kitchen not to mention they serve powdered eggs and dried up toast every single day for breakfast. When I asked for yogurt, they said they don't carry it. They don't carry fresh fruit, The food is nothing but slop. You can't get anywhere with the staff. The wound care nurse has no patience Whatsoever comes in like a tyrant, they're not friendly at all. They're not tentative to anything. The BUSINESS OFFICE people Don't know what they're doing and they're old enough to be my child that's how young they are. All they do is blow you off when you need to ask question . I would not recommend this place for my loved one.

My mother is a current resident. She started out in the Rehabilitation Center where she received excellent care. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. The facilities were well maintained. Once her she reached her maximum rehabilitation goals, she was moved to the long term care side and it has been nothing but downhill from there. They are chronically understaffed and there is so much staff turnover it is impossible to hold anyone accountable for following up on issues. I understand that the job of a CNA is thankless, but the basic standards of care that are never met. Every single time I visit I need to make a fuss to get her showered. The facilities are not well kept and the smell in the common spaces is disturbing. The individual rooms are of, but I provide air freshener to combat the awful smells. Unfortunately there are not many beds available in the area that are in her budget and until one opens up we are forced to fight for her to receive proper care.

My father has been living here and our family has had a very positive experience. The staff is attentive, caring, and always willing to help the residents with whatever they need. You can tell they truly care about the people living there and treat them with respect and kindness. Since the new management took over, things have improved even more. From the time Justina stepped in, you can clearly see the difference. The staff seems more engaged and attentive, and the overall atmosphere feels more positive. My father now participates in more activities and seems much happier, which means a lot to our family. It gives us real peace of mind knowing he is in a place where people genuinely care about the residents. Overall, we are very grateful for the care and attention he receives here and appreciate the work the staff does every day.

I strongly advise against placing your loved one in this facility. The care provided was substandard, and the environment was consistently unclean and malodorous during my visits. My mother frequently complained about the lack of responsiveness when she called for assistance, and her bed sheets were rarely changed. The bed was broken and although we kept asking for a replacement it never came. Communication with the nurses was challenging, and the head nurse was particularly unpleasant. My mother experienced five falls due to inadequate support. Additionally, she found the food to be terrible. The only competent nurse, Nance, left the facility, and most of the remaining staff appeared indifferent. The assistants were so unkind that they brought my mother to tears and were clearly unfit to work with seniors. They even administered sedatives to keep her asleep. I wouldn't recommend this facility for even a pet. We ultimately transferred her to hospice care, which provided a lovely environment where she peacefully passed away.
