The amenities are very impressive. They have much to offer an array of interests. The entire staff was professional and very friendly. The residents seemed happy and content living there. We were excited to admit our mom to this facility.

My sister and I went in for a tour. We were very pleased with the kindness and professionalism from our guide. He answered all of our questions and more. This place is very warm and inviting. The dining room was very nice. Lots of good things to do. Most of all we liked how quiet it was. Alot of places I have been in are very loud. I know this because I have been a caregiver for over 25 years. 15 of them in private Hospice care. My sister and I are feeling very comfortable with putting our mother of 93 years old in assisted living here.

Christopher and the entire team that we met were all friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel at home. The facility was odor free and clean. Great first visit.

So far it's been mostly very good, but I want control over my meds back!!! The only meds that has been controlled by the med techs so far has been the stuff for my pain!!! They are actually the most important to my health and well-being, and I need them when I need them!!! Sometimes I end up having to wait longer than I can handle and that is completely unacceptable!!!

Overall, Avamere became greatly improved a few years ago with the installation of new management. Unfortunately the needs of our resident were not able to be met by Avamere’s protocols. 1)No provision for a ketogenic diet or for puréed food. 2) No provision for a patient put in restrictive memory care for supposedly physical needs to be evaluated and approved for involvement in mentally stimulating activities outside of the memory care unit. 3) Hospice operatives were superlative for actually meeting the needs of our patient!
