I called to see if there was a visitation program or a volunteer program or some way to support the patients at the facility. The front desk lady answered and was so kind but upon being transferred to the “lady that handles it” she couldn’t have been any nastier - answering with a harsh “who is this” and it going downhill from there. I would imagine working at a memory facility requires much kindness and patience and she has neither.

Avalon McKinney is a great facility for dementia care! They treated our mom with respect and dignity through a very emotional time. The facility was always clean and the care givers were very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend!

I couldn't found a better place for my dad. They were kind and loving to him always. His needs were taken of completely during his time there. I could not recommend them any more highly! This was a great place!

My mom recently passed after spending 6 years at Avalon Memory Care at McKinney Ranch, McKinney, TX. The folks at Avalon have always been wonderful to my mom. She was in a safe and loving environment. I would highly recommend Avalon to anyone.

Kind, attentive and helpful staff. From touring to being a member of the community, the Avalon team was terrific. Great communication, very supportive and cared for my loved one like a cherished family member. I can't say enough good things from care givers to admin. Facility was clean, food appetizing, warm environment. Definitely recommend.
