I was invited to a private Thanksgiving dinner at Autumn house this year and it was just perfect! The attention to detail went above and beyond and the service was friendly, efficient and professional. The food was plentiful and so yummy! Therese

My mother has lived at Autumn House for eight years, first in independent living and more recently in assisted living. She made her own decision to move there, selecting Autumn House from several options. Our experience and observations over those years have shown that it was a wise move.<br><br>What stands out at Autumn House is the quality of the staff and the professionalism at all levels. They are kind and compassionate people, showing genuine concern for the residents. The staff treat everyone with respect for individual differences and needs.<br><br>As an example, my mother recently celebrated her 100th birthday, and the staff at Autumn House helped plan a special celebration for family and friends. The office staff helped with decorations, the kitchen prepared some special food and a delicious birthday cake, and the caregivers sang and danced in a Tik Tok video. It was a fun party for everyone, and indicative of the excellence of Autumn House. They truly “care” for the residents as individuals.<br><br>When we ask my mother if she is happy and content, she smiles and whole-heartedly says “yes”. She wants to live the rest of her life at Autumn House, and we want her to live there as well.<br><br>Our family strongly recommends Autumn House for seniors and their families who are looking for best in class independent or assisted living. We feel it is a home, not a facility.

Autumn House of Bloomfield Hills literally saved our mom’s life. She took a bad fall last November and after being hospitalized, she went to the rehabilitation center at the senior living facility she was living at. She was not doing well there, so we pulled her out and found Autumn house.<br>Just visiting there for the first time, the warmth and care we felt from the ladies in charge; Sheila, Renita, and Melissa, made us know immediately that this was the place for her.<br>She has been there for five months now, in their assisted living unit, and she has been nursed back to health by the loving staff, who always makes sure she’s taking her medication, has fresh clean clothes on every day, her laundry is done, her apartment is clean. They take her to the beautiful dining room for all her meals and encourage her to participate in all the activities that are offered each day. She has her hair done every month by another wonderful woman named Marla. They communicate with me and always answer my calls 24/7.<br>The staff who work with her daily, are loving, kind and so much fun! Obviously, I could go on and on.<br>I recommend Autumn House to everyone with aging parents, who want peace of mind in knowing that their loved ones are safe, loved, and genuinely taken care of.<br>Thank you Autumn house, for giving our mom, who will be 95 next week, her health, happiness and dignity, so that she can enjoy the few years she has left. Thank you for giving us, her children, peace of mind. 🧡

My Mom has been living at Autumn House (formerly Samaritas) since 2018 in independent living. As her needs have changed Autumn House has been able to provide all she needs to continue to be safe and comfortable in her unit. The Autumn House staff clearly see their residents as unique individuals and not simply as a resident in unit "blank".<br>As soon as you enter, you sense the loving community that is Autumn House. I wish I could leave 10 stars!

I lived at Autumn House roughly 3 months. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They actually nursed me back to good health which allowed me to move back home. When I decide to move again I will pick Autumn House again. I enjoyed the time I was there. I would recommend Autumn House to all my friends.
