Was not a good experience for mom in memory care. I had to take mom To urgent care after 3 week stay. She had a very very swollen foot and leg from her fall in memory care. They never notified me about her injury. She Had feces under every nail , solid black. She also had 2 pair of briefs on after I told them, I did not want them double briefing or triple briefing. My mother in the facility. Her hair was greasy and dirty hadn't been washed in a long time. Hospital reported to adult protective services. They do not have enough staff to manage their residence properly. One caregiver per fifteen people. We were all so misled about several things. The staff also talked to me about a lot of issues going on in facility.

I cannot say enough about the caring staff at Gardens. They have gone above and beyond, not only with everyday care, but also by helping our family navigate situations outside of their immediate responsibilities. Who does that? People who truly care. This facility genuinely cares about its residents and their families. Every resident I have met has been happy and friendly, and the staff consistently show kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Knowing your loved one is surrounded by people who truly care brings such peace of mind. This is exactly what families hope for when choosing a senior living community for someone they love. Just wow!

This senior living facility has been one of the most traumatic experiences for my senior mom and I ever. The most horrific time in our life that has had us in court a year. They have held my mom against her will telling my mother she can’t leave without her sons permission who does not occupy a “hold court order” and is acting against the law for more than a year. I have had to hire lawyers and my mother is in such a depression she states she just wants to die. The facility is going far above their job descriptions to facilitate this hold. My mother has grown hopeless and I am not able to get to my mom without threats to call the police. It has gone to court but the nightmare continues. Please do not involve your loved one with this facility. This has far been the worst experience of our lives with my mom living her last days held against her will.

After several months in ICU and rehab at a skilled nursing facility, I have spent the past two months at the Gardens getting strong enough to return to my home. I can honestly say that this has been a fantastic experience. The facility i very nice, but the best part has been the people - both staff and residents. It has been a blessing and a privilege to spend this time here. If I find I need assisted living arrangements in the future I will be back.

Took a tour with sales director Chris Sessions. He was very articulate and thorough with answering all the questions I had surrounding my mom’s need for services and what the Gardens of Escondido had to offer. Nice facility, clean, well maintained. A strong choice for those considering a place for their parents to live.
