My mom has been in and out of nursing facilities over the past couple of years. According to her, Astoria has been her favorite so far. She stayed for about a month. What stood out to her was the nursing staff. She said they were very nice and attentive to her needs. Astoria isn’t a 5 star hotel but they do their best with what they have. We appreciate the care that the staff takes in making sure their guests are comfortable.

My mother has been staying at Astoria Rehabilitation Center, and our experience has been truly positive. The staff has been caring, attentive, and compassionate during a very difficult time for our family. The nurses and caregivers consistently treat my mom with kindness and patience, and I appreciate how hard they work to make sure she is comfortable and supported. The facility has also done a great job communicating with me about her care and progress, which has helped give me peace of mind. It’s clear that many of the employees genuinely care about the residents and want the best for them. Rehabilitation and recovery can be stressful, but the team at Astoria has helped make the process feel much more manageable. I like the place! Friendly staff especially Filipino nurses. I didn’t like the dresser they provide to my dad. It was falling apart. Lunch not serve on time. The Hispanic therapist asking me questions about my dad therapy instead of asking pt nurse or reviewing pt chart so she knows what she need to do. Therapist look dirty. She needs clean uniform

My father had a heart attack last year and he needed to be in a rehab facility. We were very fortunate to have come across this Astoria Facility in Sylmar. My father loved it over there. He was always well taken cared of by very attentive caregivers. The staff worked well with my family when it came to paperwork, etc. The food was exceptional according to my father who is a picker eater nowadays. He fondly remembers his time in Astoria and so do we. The folks who work there made my father feel like a VIP. I saw that they sincerely cared for him. My family and I would recommend this facility to those who may need rehab, hospice, etc. services. A big thank you goes out to the folks who work at Astoria in Sylmar. My father still thinks fondly of all of you even up to this day. You all made a positive difference in his life. Keep up the good work please.
