I am so thankful for the care that assured hospice provided for my momma while she was declining. She was not the easiest patient to care for and they did everything they could to try to keep her comfortable. I felt very supported and it was wonderful to have to someone to call when things got tough. Our nurse Hannah was incredible and both Chaplins were wonderful! I did have issues a few times receiving emergency care.

I am writing for my brother to say thanks he wanted to say but he couldn’t. My brother Linan Chao passed away on June 6th in the morning. I am living in Canada, I was back and forth between Vancouver and Centralia. But people in Hospice Centralia were always around my brother Linan. They sent flexible bed, oxygen machine, medicines, and always asked if there was anything we needed. One night I was in Canada, I was told one volunteer staying for looking after my brother for the entire night (I am so sorry I don’t know her name), and Stephanie, Heather, Stacey, Amy, Jacque . . . everyday people from Hospice would come, changing and asking . . . And last week, I received a card with many signatures from Hospice Centralia. And Matthew asks if I need grief-support help. I don’t know how to express my feelings, but I know, if I am needed, I will do like you have done to my brother, to many patients.

My grandma was under the care of Assured Hospice multiple times. She would graduate off of hospice when her illness was no longer declining & they were always so helpful in ensuring a smooth discharge process. She ultimately succumbed to her chronic illnesses in October of 2022 and received amazing care from the Assured Hospice team. She was able to pass peacefully and surrounded by family. I am forever grateful for the care, love, and support that Assured Hospice provided our family during such a difficult time.

I’ve had family and friends in the excellent care of Assured Hospice Centralia. I was so impressed with the team and the support they provided my family that when it was time to switch specialties, I joined the team. This is such a fantastic interdisciplinary group. Nurses, hospice aides, doctors, chaplains, volunteers, and a nurse practitioner are among the people who come alongside you and your loved ones during the final journey.
