My sister was at Aspire in Jonesburg, MO for about two months. She started on rehab and ended with hospice. I selected Aspire for her after a full search of options. It was an hour drive. It was well worth it. It didn’t matter to me that it took family longer to drive to visit her. The important thing is that when we were not there, we could trust she was well taken care of. The people at Aspire in Jonesburg is the difference. I’ve had experiences at all types of care centers in the St. Louis metro area, and the people at Aspire in Jonesburg are much better. More caring, more professional, and truly good people. No place is perfect. This place is the best.

Unsafe place protect yourself and your loved ones!!! yesterday January 22nd 2026 I was walking down the hallway to get a book for my friend who is a resident at aspire,when a another resident named Norman came and chest pumped me literally assaulted me as I was walking down the hallway! Omg!!!! there is no security there. When this incident occurred, staff got 3 residents out of their rooms to the hallway to block Norman from harming others!!! Literally 2 women holding on to walkers trying to block Norman !!!crazy things happening here. Place smells like urine bad!!!!! Praying hard for all the residents and staff at this facility even Norman🙏 if this staff gets hurt, they can't protect our loved ones.💕

I was really hoping the care was going to improve since they took over st Andrew’s facility of new Florence. My loved one has no had a bath in 2 weeks, the last bath was at my request and they always give the same excuse we can’t force them. But I am sure if they would just explain its bath day and time for your shower they would go. They sleep in their clothes nightly or my loved one does because it’s so taxing for them. The employees certainly do not take pride in their work as it shows in every way that they are there to collect a paycheck. So it’s not just one facility it’s all. So it’s not only lower management its upper management as well.

If you care for your loved one, DO NOT take them here. They will get ignored for hours, skipped meals, and the list goes on. Admin and majority of the workers are not caring either sadly. Specially the one that sits at the nurses station and vapes. Very understaffed and it’s hard to find workers when you need something.

My mom is getting good care in this nursing home. I visit her all the time and know most of the staff and I can tell that they really do care about the residents and try very hard to help everyone. My mom was in several St. Louis County nursing homes for rehabilitation after having falls and surgeries and I can tell you those other nursing homes in St. Louis are terrible compared to Aspire. Please keep up the good work Aspire staff! You are very much appreciated by many! Thanks for doing a great job! Shawn Bruce
