We moved here in March of last year, hoping to make life simpler, and, if possible, make new friends. Best decision we ever made. Among the residents and staff, we have found wonderful connections. Almost every day, we look at each other and say, "Aren't we lucky?"

I moved to Asbury Place Kingsport in December 2023 and it’s probably one of the best decisions I ever made. Our independent living community is smaller than many similar communities but when you move here, you’re not only an integral part of the community, you’re also part of the local Asbury family — no adoption papers necessary, it just happens. There are a wide variety of activities to be enjoyed, though no one person would be capable of participating in all of them — and if you want more or different activities, there are plenty options close by, whether it’s golf, pickleball, etc. The staff is outstanding, compassionate, and helpful — and they are really part of the family also.
It is so nice to live in a place where we all help and care for each other — no one is a stranger, though we all have different experiences, different interests, different beliefs, etc.
If anyone is looking for a wonderful place to call home, you need to at least consider Asbury Kingsport. My 2 little chihuahuas and I think this place is THE BEST!

We came here 3 years ago and it was one of our best decisions. Although we are in a Villa there is great repore with people throughout the campus. There are numerous activities, both physical and mental that residents may participate in. The staff is generous, efficient and friendly. There is an opportunity for lunch or breakfast at the bistro. The dinner meal is in the dining room has a choice of an entree, sides and salad bar or there is an option of a hot bar which changes daily. The dining room staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating. There is a social hour once a week which allows you to a choice of snacks and beverages. Occasionally there will be an opportunity for special trips that you may enjoy. Once again a great place to live!
