As Close As Family has been a God send for us. I am a live-in Caregiver for Mr.Hilyer,and they take such good care of him, while that gives me a break to pay bills,and visit grandkids,or even just a much needed nap,lol The ladies does light housework,cook,and bathe him and keeps him in great spirits. I wish I could leave 10 stars,because they really are As Close As Family to us.. Thanks for all you do!

————————————————————— Update: After posting this review, we had the unfortunate opportunity to work with this company. It turned out that they were very unprofessional from the director to the care workers. (There were a couple of good ones). They were not dependable, lacked communication and unprofessional. We ended the service with them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Alexander City AL office I signed up with this service because my dad was end stage Alzheimer’s and I desperately needed help as his sole caregiver. I met with Kim and signed up for the service immediately. There have been some ups and downs keeping to the days I signed up for, which have been lowered. I now deal with Amanda in the office and she is professional, responsive and courteous. My only complaint is in communicating to me that no one will be coming when I have been set a same day same person schedule. I will say that although I hear nothing from the office, on the rare days Terri is pulled or unable to be here she always communicates with me. She is amazing, her work level, her punctuality, her communication, her compassion are all above average. She is an amazing employee for this company because of all the positives she brings to the table. I would recommend this company to others with the firm suggestion they request Terri.
