My sister and I have had to make the decision to place our mom in a facility because we really needed help with her. I’ll be honest enough to say that Arrowhead is definitely an older facility and could use some work both outside and inside. But I cannot take away from the fact that my 92 year old mom is being very well taken care of and seen about always. The staff had been kind, respectful and diligent. It’s been a pleasure working with Julia Jones the very first person we met when checking out the facility. My mom has been there 7 months and I can call Ms. Julia about anything and she accomodates us.She follows through with all of our concerns/request. Special thanks to entire nursing staff for seeing about my mother the way that you ALL do. The Battle Family.

Ladies and gentlemen, Arrowhood. Let me be real: Arrowhead Post Acute is a disaster. The bathrooms and shower rooms look like they haven’t been cleaned, fixed, or cared about in forever. Toilets stay clogged for days, dirty towels and sheets sit on the floor, tiles are missing, and there are straight-up holes in the walls. The smell hits you before you even step inside. It’s filthy, and everybody working there knows it. Ceiling tiles are stained, falling apart, or gone completely. You can see wires, wood, and damage that looks like it’s been there for months. The break room has mold on the ceiling tiles, but that’s where staff are expected to eat and take breaks. Nothing about that is normal. And the worst part? Management has known about all of this for months. People have complained, pointed it out, brought it up in meetings, and nothing gets fixed. They shrug it off and keep it moving like it’s not their responsibility. The lack of action is wild. It’s giving “we’re just here for a check.” As a former employee, I wouldn’t recommend anyone place a loved one here. There are more roaches and gnats in that building than residents, and that should tell you everything you need to know. This is not acceptable for a nursing home. It’s unsafe, it’s dirty, and it’s embarrassing. Something is seriously wrong when a place meant to care for people looks like this every day.

Less than a week after my aunt's arrival at the facility, EVERY piece of clothing that she entered Arrowhead Health and Rehab with was stolen. It was stolen despite a note placed stating that the family would do laundry and notifying the staff of such. Stolen despite having her name printed inside of her clothing. When the issue was brought to the attention of those in charge, the response was delay, delay and more delay. They never attempted to replace or reimburse for the clothing despite receipts being provided to them. Fast forward a few weeks later. My aunt called me to state that she was having difficulty breathing. Her concerns were dismissed by the "charge nurse." I immediately went to Arrowhead Health and Rehab and found my aunt in distress, I signed her out and physically took her to the hopital, where she was immediately placed in ICU. My aunt was very frail and with no clothes of her own, I had to transport her in the rain in someone elses too big clothes they placed on her. They would not even allow her to take one of their blankets to keep warm on the ride to the hospital. Arrowhead Health and Rehab facility does not even deserve a star.

Thank you Arrowhead for recognizing your vendors. My staff thoroughly enjoyed the event and it feels good to be recognized. Hopefully it can become an event every year. We loved the food and hospitality. Julia you're the best and thank you for always supporting and making us feel welcomed.
