Delivered donation from Military Order of the Cootie Pup Tent 2, the honorary degree of the Veterans of Foreign Wars out of Pima County. Found staff enthusiastic for helping their residents. Facility was bright, clean, wide aisles with many window views out. Noted several activity rooms in use. Built for 80 I was told census was at 66. Enter off street on north side of facility. It has a covered loading zone for resident pickup or dropoff close to entrance with handicap parking to the side. Covered general parking is available for visits. Several residents walked by the entry desk with cane or walkers, some with a staff aid, coming from an activity room heading down the hall back to their rooms. This was my first visit here as I am the liaison for the VFW at ASVH-Tucson and had come into some extra items for distribution to each of the four ASVH located Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson, and Yuma. Donations and activities for the residents coordinated with Jennifer at this home would be welcomed.

Beautiful facility with friendly staff. Well engaged with the community. Private rooms with private bathrooms, with showers. Thoughtfully planned & built.
