We chose Archstone for my mom's care after she fell and broke her hip, shoulder and several ribs. In the midst of the stress of her fall & surgery, choosing a place felt a bit overwhelming and stressful. I toured Archstone and met with Karen - who helped me decide that this was the best choice for us. Our experience with Archstone was exceptional! My mom felt very well cared for and thought the nurses and nursing assistants were extrememely caring and attentive. She looked forward to her PT sessions each day, and felt that everyone had a positive and gentle approach to helping her get better each day. Above and beyond the phyical care she recieved, she enjoyed the interaction with the staff. My parents celebrated their 60th Anniversary while my mom was recovering, and the staff decorated her room and brought it sparkiling cider with champage glasses and purchased a special dessert for them to celebrate. This kind of thoughtfullness was more than we expected and truly showed they cared for her as a person, not just a patient! Thank you, Archstone for taking a diffucult time and making it SO much easier!

My grandma was in here there was terrible communication skills , she fell because she was barely watched and she was a high fall risk after already breaking her hip, very few employees were nice but a lot of them weren’t, they kept the safety bars down when she is a fall risk. Go anywhere else but here….

This place could be good, but it's not! Many mistake, prescriptions not ordered or used properly, or oversights. Filthy wheelchair, not exactly clean. No assistance with grooming, other than a bath (may or may not have happened twice a week) for bedridden patients. Employees with limited English causing miscommunication. I'll stop now, but there's plenty more. The only star is for the PT and OT staff that worked diligently to help my dad regain strength for walking. My dad was in full sepsis when I arrived, I had to have them call 911. They told me he was sleepy in his wheelchair , ignored the signs of trouble like sudden, weakness, not being able to transfer, and extreme daytime drowsiness, low urine output in his catheter bag. Their thermometer didn't even catch his fever. He was immediately transferred to the ER. Thank goodness I showed up when I did. Low skilled nursing at best!!!

I have to say this place is horrible for rehabilitation and care for your loved ones. The entrance of this place may get you fooled. Seems nice but thats all they spend the money on is a grand entry. Wait til you walk in the rooms, and the hallways. It smells like urine. The equipment are so old and dirty. They ran out of supplies at times. The nurses or caregivers tell the patients to urinate on themselves. When they call for help they get no help. The patients wait a long time for help. My dad was here for rehabilitation getting his strength back and start walking on his own. But they keep pushing him in a wheelchair nor he can't push himself up. The rehabilitation they just gossip and dont pay much attention to the patients. My dad is veteran and he taken care of from VA. The Medicare recommendation he come to a rehab. Never again will I do this. He had big ugly roaches in his room. I dont know when the rooms are cleaned. Their still another big roach left under a bed next to his bed. I had to tell the nurse to remove the roach. The showers are only twice a week they dont get a wipe on the face hands or arms during the day. At least the hospital does this. I had to wash his clothes daily because they told him to pee on himself. This made me mad. Now, I have to pay 3 days deep into the copay. Because someone did not call me ahead of time like a week prior. The physical therapy never gave me updates, they never told me updates when he will be released. I'm just getting my dad out of there. The lack of care, communication and physical therapy at this place. The last I was told the patients choke on food and they laughed at them. Some of the patients cried because they almost choked. I couldn't believe this. This made me mad.
