On Monday, July 6, 2026 I came in to see my mother Connie Messier, and when I got to her room, she was not there. I want to ask the nurse and she did not know where she was. She asked a couple of other people they did not know where she was. A gentleman walked by I believe was a physical therapist said She wasn’t a physical therapy. Her CNA walked by with food trays and said to check the cafeteria. The physical therapist want to check the cafeteria and she was sitting in there. This was about one 2125. So she would’ve slept in the cafeteria, sitting there for over an hour or about an hour. Two things I don’t understand:
1. Everyone seem nonchalant about it like it was no big deal that my mother was left there. I believe it’s a very big deal.
2. Why is the CNA taking care of food trace is that not the kitchen’s responsibility. If she didn’t have to worry about the food tray, she could be taking care of my mother and making sure she’s back in a room after lunch
Ann Fraser
