Do NOT put your loved ones in this place! My Aunt did not get her cancer medication for eleven months here. The Dr. put her on vitamin B-12 because she was not getting enough meat or fresh greens. When we moved her out we found medication IN her room from the pharmacy from September that had not even been used. The list goes on but this should be enough for you to get the point. If you care at all about your loved one DON’T put them in there.

I have known Rennie and Marc, the owners, over their 40 years in the business and they are experienced, caring and professional. (Rennie's parents were in the assisted living business for many years as well.) They work to provide a quality of living that you don't get in a mega-home conglomerate. They are devoted and view as their vocation in life that their clients feel comfortable, safe and like family in their care. They even buy them Christmas presents during the holiday. I would not hesitate to use their services for family or myself, and would highly recommend them to my friends.

Marc, Lauren and the staff at Applewood Assisted Living are approachable, genuine, caring people who make the residents feel like they’re home. They spend a lot of time caring for the residents, scheduling and participating in daily activities, preparing meals and tending to their needs. There isn’t a better place for a senior to live.

I cannot begin to express the thanks I have for the high quality care my mother receives. I know my mother is in a safe environment and the owners and their staff really care about get and the rest of their family.
