I couldn't ask for better people to care for my loved ones! Lauri and Rosie have known my family for as long as I can remember. They are more than a business, they're a family!

We contracted this agency through theCamp Verde office with the understanding my mom would get 24 hour care for a period of 19 days for my mom who is 90. We stipulated she required 2 caregivers, who would be available to meet her before they started working. This gave her a chance to determine compatibility. I left on the 19th....On the 20th the caregiver for the weekend showed up and informed my mom she would only stay 6 hours and no nights, and mom thought she would not be compatible. She was now left on her own to fill the void of 3 days. Thank God for loving neighbors who came to her rescue. I was unable to come back from California at this time as my septic tank needed to be replaced. I called the Prescott Valley office, who then scheduled 4 different caregivers to fill in. On the 211 I receive a text by her social worker that she should be watched because she has become suicidal!! I call the agency and told them how upset my mom was and what the social worker told me. I asked them to be aware and to inform the caregivers of her state of mind and to be extra gentle with her. They did not inform any of the caregivers. I called twice a day .My stress level was through the roof. During this time one of her caregiver gave her 2 thyroid pills, misreading the instruction I left, for 2 Tylenol pills. My mom has A-fib of the heart....this mistake could have caused her to have a heartache! I cut everything short and came back on the 27. When I informed the Prescott Valley office that they were in breach of contract their responds was...” We covered your mom..was she fed, was she showered , we did wash...then we did our job. Elder law states that a verbal agreement for custodial care is a binding as a written contract. They promised full coverage of only 2 people...the neighbor had to fill Friday from 2:30 pm to Tues 9 am. ..and they would be able to find 2 people to cover the entire period. The emotional turmoil of the realization she was all lone and dependent on friends and neighbors to drop their schedules was not necessary if Angels on Duty honored their contract..

They started out to be a wonderful and pleasant company. That changed fast. They now believe untruths of care givers, with out proof, and drop you as a client. They need to hire more skillful, helpful and nicer care givers and staff for some of their locations. They need to realize the care givers are going to peoples homes, and need to respect that. Anyone with a disability is human as well, not just a job.
