I was privileged to have met with Jackie and her team when my friend recommended me to Angel of Light Assisted Living Facility. Upon getting a sad news from another facility that they could no longer care for my dad, I didn’t know what to do, then my friend told be about Angel of Light. Jackie and her team were very compassionate, dedicated and they truly went above and beyond to ensure the well-being and happiness of my dad. I thought I would have lost my dad shortly after I moved him the Jackie’s facility because of the condition that he was him, but because of the level of care given to him by Jackie and her team my dad lived approximately four years after he was admitted to Angel of Light. As the name of the facility suggested, I can truly say that Jackie and her team are angels. The facility is fresh, well kept, and is always clean. Fresh meals are served three times per day, with snack between each meal. Planned activities each day to keep the residents engaged and to communicate with each other. The attention to details and personal care plans were very impressive, and it was obvious that each resident’s unique needs were prioritized. Finally, let me express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding care and support given to my dad before the transition. I am indeed well pleased. If you are looking for a place where your family will be cared for, then Angel of Light Assisted Living Facility is the place, where they will get the nurture and support they need by angels. Love you Jackie, you are indeed a gem and truly the best.

It was a blessing to have my dad be cared for by the Angels of Light Assisted Living Nursing team. He was dx with cancer and had a short prognosis, nevertheless he was accepted by Miss Jackie and her staff. I was given a great price for the private room my dad was placed. The care, empathy and love he received in his last days were extra ordinary. Quality palliative care and comfort measures were given. I was surprised because I have never seen such care provided by non-family members. Furthermore, Miss Jackie was so attentive and comforting to me and my brother. She not only provided patient-centred care but also, family-centred care, and for that I am forever grateful. The facility overall was exceptionally clean, odour-free, calm, and welcoming. They had activities at various hours of the day, to keep the residents active and provided quality, healthy meals. I have no complaints, and I definitely recommend. If my mom was to get ill to the point I can no longer care for her, I know I will admit her at Angel of Light Assisted Living. I can happily say that my dad passed away in a warm and loving environment. Thx again to the Angel of Light Assisted Living team.

I had the privilege of meeting Jackie and her team though my mom who lived at this facility for 3 years. This is one of the best place anyone or their love one could spend their senior years. The facility is always clean, with fresh linens on the bed and a warm welcome from the staff whenever I visit. I appreciate their efforts in serving well balanced home cooked meals and healthy snacks to my mom and the other residents at the facility. They go above and beyond in ensuring my mom was always looking beautiful, with beautiful hairstyles and well kept nails. Thanks angel of light. You were truly an angel shining brightly for my mom while she was in your care.

I’m writing this review with a heavy heart. My mother lived at this facility, and while her care during life seemed adequate, the way I’ve been treated following her death has been deeply upsetting. After she passed, I was surprised to be accused of owing money. When I asked for a full payment history and copies of all invoices, the owner was unable to provide them. So I went through my own records and created a detailed spreadsheet showing every payment I made — including dates, payment method, and payment confirmation numbers. It clearly showed I had overpaid by a significant amount and was owed a refund. Instead of addressing this, the owner blocked my messages and stopped responding entirely. She is no longer answering my calls or replying to emails. This behaviour feels not only unprofessional, but dishonest and unethical. If you’re considering care for a loved one, I urge you to think very carefully. The way a facility treats grieving families says everything about its values — and looking back, I now worry about the care they gave my mom.

My husband John Spina of 30 years was in and of 3 other care facilities. Nothing could compare to the Angels of Light assisted care, with regards to compassion, cleaniness, kindness, respectfullness, genuine concern of each clients personal needs along witj home made fresh food. I knew my husband was dying, and was so grateful his last days ware spent in such a loving and caring environment. Best place you could ever place yourself or a loveone. Jackie and her staff are truly Angels. God Bless them all❤
