WOW! Just WOW! Full disclosure, we are fairly new to AmeriCare. We were with Visiting Angels for about 7 months and dealt with nothing but problems, terrible caregivers and never having our needs fulfilled. We were scared to make the switch. My only regret is that we waited so long to do it. Janet the office manager is not only kind but listens to what your needs are and COMES THROUGH with the caregivers! She is AMAZING! The first day we felt as if we were waking up after a terrible nightmare to a beautiful new world. Our first caregiver showed up for our uncle and was well trained, ready to do her job. It was such a change from what we had experienced with the last agency we had hired. Since then Janet has helped us find care so that we could finally do something with our children and leave the house knowing our uncle was well cared for.<br>We had not been able to do that for almost 6 months.<br>We are still new to AmeriCares so I will be updating this review down the road, but I just had to give Janet and her team props. We were on the verge of having to send our uncle to a home and she has pulled us back from that ledge.<br>This company deserves 5 stars. The company we were with had that, but we found out the hired one of those marketing companies to write fake reviews for them. If you’re in the Gloucester area take my advice and go with AmeriCares and skip the nightmare we had to experience for so long. These people are so much better!!!!
