My sister had been living in an Independent Living Retirement Center for over four years when it became evident that her care needed to be elevated to Assisted Living and that would best be provided by another facility. We were introduced to Kathy and Tom Misiuk, dba Always Best Care Senior Services, by one of my sister's home health services providers. Within just a few months Kathy and Tom had consulted with my sister, evaluated a number of facilities with her, found an approved Assisted Living facility with Memory Care options, organized and helped with the logistics and completion of her physical move, and to this day continue to monitor and assist her adaptation to the world of assisted living. In this election year there is a lot of talk about family and family values. In Kathy and Tom Misiuk we feel that we have extended our family to include them and vice versa. They have offered their family services to provide solace to my sister in a time of great fear and stress and found her a living space to meet her needs for years to come.

This is the best company when you need at home care. Our mother needed in home care for dementia and Tom and Cathy took the time to get to know her to ensure the right members of their team came to care for her. Even when a caregiver was sick, etc… they would personally volunteer to come if we needed. Lastly, when we had to make the decision to move my mom into a facility, Cathy made sure we found the best place and even came for move in day. Tom and Cathy… thank you!!! Your compassion and service were exceptional!

I would give more stars if I could. Tom was absolutely fantastic to work with. He met with me and my sister to review our mom’s condition and her needs in great detail. He was able to identify facilities that would provide her the proper care for her progressive dementia. He also met with my mother one on one to assess her needs and understand her challenges. Tom identified a short list of appropriate facilities to provide excellent care for our mother. He visited the facilities with us and provided us insight into each facilities pros and cons. He did so in a non-emotional, very objective and almost surgical way. He has sincere compassion for the people involved in this process as he and his wife went through the same so they work from a realistic point of view based on their own experiences. Tom also helped negotiate on our behalf in order to meet our financial budget. Highly recommend!
