My family member stayed here several weeks. Facility was clean — no odors. But the standout was Zabel Gasparyan. She went above and beyond every single day — attentive, compassionate, and on top of every detail. When we had concerns, she addressed them immediately. She made us feel like family. Staff answered call lights promptly. Food was average. Wi-Fi spotty. But Zabel alone is reason enough to choose Ararat. Outstanding performance. Thank you.

Choosing a nursing facility for a loved one is never a decision taken lightly, which is why I feel compelled to share how impressed I’ve been with Ararat Nursing Facility. From the very beginning, the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine compassion. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized in a way that reflects strong management and a clear commitment to quality care. What truly stands out is the consistency. Every visit reinforces the same experience—staff members who are responsive, respectful, and patient-focused. There is a noticeable culture of kindness here, where residents are treated with dignity and care rather than just being part of a routine. Communication with families is also handled thoughtfully. Questions are answered clearly, concerns are taken seriously, and there’s a reassuring sense that the well-being of residents is always the top priority. In a space where trust is everything, Ararat Nursing Facility delivers. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professionally run environment for their loved ones.

★★★★★ It is rare to find a facility where professionalism and genuine compassion come together so seamlessly, but that is exactly what I experienced with Ararat Nursing Facility. From the moment my mother was admitted, the level of care exceeded every expectation. The staff consistently demonstrated attentiveness, patience, and a deep sense of responsibility—not just toward her medical needs, but toward her dignity and emotional well-being. I would like to especially recognize Zabel Gasparyan, whose dedication truly stands out. Zabel cared for my mother with a level of kindness and attentiveness that went far beyond routine nursing duties. She was consistently gentle, responsive, and incredibly thorough, always making sure my mother was comfortable and well looked after. More importantly, she treated her with warmth and respect, as if she were caring for her own family member. In environments like this, it’s the people who make all the difference—and Zabel is exactly the kind of professional who elevates an entire facility. Knowing my mother was in such capable and compassionate hands brought immense peace of mind to our family. I am deeply grateful for the care she received and would confidently recommend Ararat Nursing Facility to anyone seeking a place where their loved ones will be truly cared for.

I recently visited Ararat Nursing Home in Mission Hills for professional marketing outreach, and my first impression was extremely positive. The building and exterior are beautiful, very well-maintained, and give a high-end, welcoming impression. Everything looked clean, organized, and professionally done. However, unfortunately, my experience changed completely once I entered and approached the front desk. After introducing myself professionally and requesting to speak with the social workers to briefly share information about my home health agency, I was met with a very unprofessional response from the front desk staff member (I believe her name was Naira). Instead of simply assisting with redirection or notifying the appropriate department, I was told that “people like you come here more than a hundred times a day,” and that she would just leave the information without contacting anyone directly. The tone and wording were dismissive and inappropriate. Front desk staff are meant to guide and redirect visitors, not decide on behalf of social workers or discharge planners who should or should not be contacted. This interaction was very disappointing and completely overshadowed the excellent first impression I had of the facility. I have visited many healthcare facilities in my line of work, and I have never experienced this type of response at the front desk. I hope management will address this, as professionalism at the front desk is critical to maintaining the high standard that the facility’s appearance suggests.

We went to this place to check it out for my mother and everything is about first impressions and this place gave us a negative one from the front desk rudeness to the lady supervisor margarita kechichian . I felt like I was in a jungle. Not Pleasant and they told us only 2 hours we can see our parents because is not a party time to stay there all day. There is nothing processional about this place . Staff are rude. Feel sorry for the residents, may be something going on that they don’t let people to stay with love once cause they are hiding something 🤷‍♀️
