Front office personnel...? Nursing staff friendly. ? skill level of some younger staff. I hear most facilities are run about the same so no reason to look for better. Just wonder how long their ratings are going to be a "2".

Our mom has been at Alameda Care Center since April of 2024. The staff is caring and extremely attentive to her care and well being. Caring for dementia patients is not easy, as no two patients are alike. The one thing that is consistent with all the patients is that they are require a tremendous amount of patience and care. The nursing staff and the CNA are always happy to help. It could have been something as simple as needing a missing sock or assistance in getting our mom cleaned up because she soiled her pants while we were visiting her. Our mom is always clean, groomed and well fed. Should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing their services, you will not find better care anywhere else. I say this because we have been at other facilities and none of them have the same level of care as Alameda Care Center.

My experience with this nursing home has been extremely disappointing. Many of the staff members I interacted with were unhelpful and came across as unprofessional. On several occasions, they seemed poorly trained and unable to answer basic questions about resident care. Their attitude was also very rude, making an already stressful situation even more upsetting. Families trust nursing homes to provide compassion, competence, and respect—and unfortunately, this facility fell far short of those expectations. I hope the administration takes serious steps to improve staff training and professionalism, because residents and their loved ones deserve far better.
