I spent several weeks at following cancer surgery. The surgery left me with two ostomies and a lot of major adjustments to my life.<br>The care I got at Advanced Health Care of Lakewood was top-notch. The nursing staff is very attentive. Getting walks proved challenging on the weekends, but other than that, I was very pleased with my stay.<br>One nurse stood head and shoulders above the rest: Mary Evans. Beyond being timely and efficient, Mary brings a positive and encouraging attitude to her work. This was exactly what I needed to face my life’s new challenges. She is a great conversationalist with a terrific sense of humor. She is my favorite nurse of all time. Advanced Health Care of Lakewood is lucky to have Mary Evans on staff.

Our family is incredibly grateful to the staff at Advanced Healthcare of Lakewood for the exceptional care they provided to my husband during his recovery from a critical medical condition.The communication with our family was excellent and the daily care from his nurse, Mary Evans, our angel was remarkable, and helped us navigate through this very difficult time. We highly recommend Advanced Healthcare of Lakewood to anyone seeking high-quality rehabilitation and skilled nursing. This is the only facility our family would ever use, they made a lasting difference in our lives, and we are deeply appreciative of everything they did for my husband.

Advanced Health Care of Lakewood gave me stellar care after my hip replacement. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left, I was treated with utmost respect and professionalism. A special shout out to Lennie & Olivia CNAs; Nurse Practitioner Kathryn; physical therapists Kathryn & Patrick; PA Ali; RNs Maria, Kimisha & Mark; and Executive Chef Joseph; as well as those others who made my stay so special. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough!

My dad has been here twice in two years. The staff is so amazing!!! They are kind, gentle, caring…. They make everything so easy for the family and patient by printing out med lists, taking patients to appointments in their special wheelchair-equipped van (Huge THANKS to Driver Debra who knows what doctor’s office in Denver and the suburbs, and is a fearless defender of her charges!), catering to their dietary needs (they even went out and bought sugar free root beer and ice cream so Dad could partake in the treat with his diabetes!!), and most of all treating each patient like they’d like to be treated.<br><br>It always smells so fresh and clean. Staff members use irony and fun to show each patient that s/he matters. Olivia takes special care to make Dad’s bed special, Danielle and Daniele come in to welcome him with a hug…After a reaction to his drug infusion and a quick run to the hospital, Dad was actually excited to head back for his Family away from Family and his amazing care both in his room and at PT and OT. The entire team does whatever they can to make sure each patient is safe and happy. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts! We know to always request Advanced Health Care Lakewood for my dad because of their professionalism, integrity, motivation, and instilling a true sense of belonging!

All the staff here are wonderful and take great care of their residents. The nurses, CNA's PT/OT/Speech, ED, Discharge Planner and the whole team do a great job communicating and providing a great experience to people in need of SNF rehab. The facility is always clean, Resident rooms are clean, you can tell they pay attention to the little details that make people's days better. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need.
