My mom spent her last few months at Aging Gracefully. What a beautiful place. We are so grateful that it was recommended to us by Heart Of Texas Hospice.She was in a precipitous and heartbreaking decline due to vascular dementia, and we struggled to find the right place for her as she came to require an increased level of care. I can't say enough about the kindness, the professionalism, and the commitment - not only to my mom's care, but to the maintaining of her dignity - . that was shown by the staff at Aging Gracefully every day. The facility is beautiful- comfortable, meticulously, clean, and very warm and homey. And it meant so much to my mom to be in a place that was so connected to nature. She loved spending time on the back deck, watching the deer, and enjoying the sunshine. As a family, we were welcomed at each visit with empathy and kindness.Each caregiver there was a real blessing to us. To know that my mom was being cared for every day with kindness and humor, made a difficult journey through her illness possible.

Aging Gracefully has been a God send. They are blessed with an amazing staff and owner. They recognized my mother's condition and began caring for Mother and me, as I had been her previous, worn-out caregiver. The facility is gorgeous, immaculately clean and inviting. I can't give enough praise to the owner, she is a gift from God.

Aging Gracefully provided exceptional care for my stepmom, who was living with dementia. From the very beginning, their team showed deep compassion, professionalism, and a true understanding of her unique needs. They treated her with patience, dignity, and kindness every step of the way. What stood out most was the personal attention and genuine connection they formed with her. They took the time to learn her routines, her preferences, and even the little things that brought her comfort and joy. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such capable and caring hands. I am incredibly grateful to Aging Gracefully for helping her maintain quality of life in a loving and respectful environment. Words cannot describe how incredible this facility is. They have the absolute most caring and attentive staff that treated my father like family and with the utmost dignity and respect. They made sure he was always clean and comfortable and the TV was on his favorite channel. They coordinated with hospice and advocated for him if necessary and were always very kind and accommodating to all who visited him. Every resident I ever saw was happy and engaged in a way that was appropriate for their needs. They have plenty of staff at all times to meet each resident’s need and the place is always spotless. When he first arrived they even asked about his favorite foods and likes and dislikes so they could make sure they provided him with food and snacks he would eat and enjoy. I could not have asked for a better place to care for my father in his final months. My only regret was not moving him here earlier.

When the difficult decision was made for my loved one, I felt at ease about Aging Gracefully immediately because it is a small place with plenty of caregivers and low staff to resident ratios, so the residents receive more personalized care and attention than a large nursing facility could possibly provide to their residents (and having been a nurse practitioner at various nursing facilities here in San Antonio I know what this looks like first hand). She is safe and well cared for and on a routine that meets all of her needs. The home itself is so cozy and quiet and clean, and I enjoy my visits here and can stay for hours and enjoy the company of my loved one knowing I am just there to visit, not to do tasks and chores. Cornelia and the caregiving staff are great and respond promptly to any changes or family concerns. I cannot imagine a better place for a loved one that needs this level of care. I live now with peace of mind and confidence that my loved one is in the best of hands.
