I'm choosing to shine a light on a frustrating trend: companies that schedule interviews and then ghost candidates. Today, I had an interview scheduled for 1:30 PM ET via Teams. I'm in central time zone. So I logged onto the teams meeting at 12:28pm CST. I waited 15 minutes throughout that time I reached out to the contact that scheduled the interview via email and phone call. Despite having the invite, the interviewer never showed, and my follow-up email went unanswered.<br>While I'm moving on, I believe it's important to highlight the lack of professional accountability in the hiring process.
