I have had the privilege to work with Affectionate Care Assisted Living & Memory Care for a long time. I can say the name is befitting . From the leadership to the care team, they are truly affectionate. They coordinate care with their partner healthcare professionals and pay detailed attention to medication therapy. Mrs Teaya, the resident coordinator is just simply amazing, always smiling and taking care of her residents like family. I would recommend them to anyone who truly wants their loved one to receive genuine care.

Hello, I wanted write a review on a few things that made my experience awesome with Affectionate Care, I currently have a family member at this facility: 1. COMMUNICATION - When I reached out to their team about my inquiry, they responded very quickly with polite and very professional communication. 2. MY VISIT & SAFETY - Upon entering the facility you can tell that safety is a priority with multiple check points and their monitoring systems. A very safe environment for any type of situation! 3. PROFESSIONAL STAFF - The team off nurses and employees are very knowledgeable and experienced in caring for the elderly or challenged patients. 4. THE LOVE - the overall feeling of this facility is amazing. Very fun activities for persons at the facility, Age appropriate activities to activate the minds, A very homely environment where everyone is so kind, it's such a great place! My thoughts on Affectionate care is that patient care is priority and the well being of everyone is important. 5 Stars for this facility.

My family and I are truly grateful we found Affectionate Care. Our loved one with memory issues recently transitioned from home to Affectionate Care. She has been welcomed and nurtured by the kind and skilled staff. Our loved one’s room is spacious with high ceilings and large windows. The facility is clean and new. There is plenty of space for her to walk and explore in a secure, and safe area. Further, the small, private facility supports about 20+ residents, which provides for a great deal of personal attention. Our loved one particularly enjoys the daily activities and the time spent sitting on the lovely patio outdoors with her friends. Affectionate Care is a great choice for anyone seeking a small, private facility where residents are treated like family.

I recently visited my friend’s dad who is a resident of Affectionate Care, as I will have to find a place for my parents in the near future. Right from the start, it felt personal and warm—nothing like a large, impersonal facility. With such a small community, the staff seem to genuinely know each resident, and there was a really good staff-to-resident ratio, which I could see making a real difference in daily care and attention.<br><br>A couple of things also stood out. The first was their memory care program. They have CALM-certified staff who had evidently taken the time to understand the needs of each of the residents. The other was their dedicated pharmacy services— something I had not seen in other facilities in the area. Having medications managed in-house took a huge burden off my friend, giving the confidence that their dad’s medications would be taken care of.<br><br>I also had the opportunity to meet the owners. They were both very passionate about offering the highest quality of care and have built something special at Affectionate Care. They both have aging parents and they said it was very important that all their residents were treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, and the families feel supported every step of the way. I left feeling very confident that this would be a great place for my parents.
